I got certified forklift safety cards if anyone wants to modify them..........think I'll just get a tatoo or e-cig certification on my driving license that says "pretending to smoke since May 2009"

I have a tattoo certified that I can have a weird winged snake with funny spiky things around it on my right arm.
Does that win me anything?

OMG, somebody actually gets it.

Shame it does not actually register though.

Perhaps, but the person hassling TDM is still operating under a false assumption that there is any practical difference between the devices.

We're all on the same side here. Businesses that do this to their customers over time may find that they can lose business in this manner. As with the poster on another thread who, when told he/she couldn't vape in an establishment, they leave and go elsewhere.

Businesses have the right to refuse service to anyone, of that I am sure. But for this as a reason is just plain wrong. It is their choice, and if they lose customers over it, loss of income be a result.

Their choice.

Is there a practical difference between a cheeseburger from Mc D's and one from BK? But you still cant waltz into a Mc D's and plop down and start eating BK.

Has Mc D's suffered any loss of business as a result?

See what I am saying here?

I get what you're saying, but the logic of your analogy is off. Burger King and McDonald's are establishments that deal primarily in hamburgers. A truck stop store is basically like any convenience store, and they generally don't actively promote anything beyond whatever marketing standees or posters their suppliers place on display.

The only way the Pilot employee's behavior makes any reasonable sense is if he's a reseller of NJoy and personally makes money off the sales, like those guys running Smoking Everywhere mall kiosks. Otherwise, he sounds to me like someone who seriously needs to read this forum.

I went back to the pilot and spoke with the manager after making my delivery. He said I could smoke any e-cig I wanted in the store. I told him what happened with his employee. He called the employee over and asked him what was going on. He ACTUALLY thought you had to carry the card he had to be able to smoke it anywhere!! The manager apoligized to me for the problem. I gave the employee the e-cif-forum website, told him may help him understand e-cigs a bit better! May even show him a bit cheaper places to get his equipment

It takes ~ 2 weeks to get it from trog. If you order make sure you order extra batteries at the same time. Trog has details on his forum as to what kind he recommends.

Sorry, mouse - back to topic.

Thanks. I was just hoping I'd get lucky.
I'm anxious to get it and see what the Cadillac of PVs is really like.

That sounds completely made up. I bet this thread did not go the ay you wanted so you just made some crap up. The manager is not going to bring the employee over and chastise him in front of you.

Nice try.

Why would you say that? The entire story was an amusing life experience.

Because they sell only njoy that is all the kid knew about. Working in a gas station he has probably been warned that while njoys are allowed real tobacco cigarettes are not. In his head the only thing okay to use was the njoy which the screwdriver does not resemble.
I am not sure how the card came into play but good work on going back and correcting his perception.

You know what waldo?? YOUR AN IDIOT!! ?This thread was NEVER about the employee trying to sell the merchandise or using a e-cig of a different brand!! It was about a misinformed employee thinking you had to carry the card to use the e-cig!!

The manager did not chastise his employee. He just asked him what it was all about. Case closed!!

Was just a misinformed employee who had his own thoughts about how things worked.
