Hi everybody! When I used to smoke analogs in front of my computer the smoke somehow came inside my screen leaving strange cloudy marks on it. I am wondering if anybody has had similar problems with vapor?
Hi! Vapor does leave a film, especially when it has a high vg ratio. If you vape in your car a lot it can be quite noticeable on the windows. It won't damage your monitor screen any more than fingerprints left from the oil on your skin. Just wipe it off with a soft dry cloth.
smoke is any electronic devices worst enemy (behind water and sledgehammers) but vapor wont cause you any problems if you clean your screen/windows once in awhile

Welcome to the forum!
Hah! Like smoking didn't? Bleah, nasty! I'm actually not afraid to clean my windows now. That stinky black stuff I used to wipe off made me think too much about what my lungs must look like.....
I can confirm this. Vaping in my car every day from and to work (about 1h total) and have to clean window more often then with analogs.
Maybe it's because I don't need to open windows
I've got 4 monitors in a semi circle in front of me and vape in front of them 12? hrs per day for 1 1/2 yrs and except for cleaning the PG film off occasionally no damage.

Do a google image search for 'body worlds smoker lung'. When I went to body worlds and saw the lung of a smoker beside a normal one I attempted to quit. It didn't last long though. However with vaping I'm 40 days analog free tomorrow, yay.
I doubt that vapor will damage your monitor. But I know analogs have. It happened on my vaio. looked like I had water in there. But when I took the screen off. bleh.
Thanks for all the conforting info. I just got a brand new notebook. Having had that bad experience with the analogs with the old one I was a bit concerned about blowing clouds of vapor with my mod in front of the new one. Well now it seems there is no reason why I shouldn't
