I had a Weimeraner when I was young...Wonderfully goofy sweetheart of a dog...Me and the wife have a few rescues now...nothing fancy unless you call the Minn Pinn on my profile page fancy...She would prefer you call her Piper and throw her a biscuit

I've got three weims. We have a blue in addition to the two silvers in the picture. Yes, they are very sweet, AND VERY NEEDY. Fortunately I like feeling needed. :)

I  people who take rescues.

Okay...I got a bunch of new concentrates in yesterday and decided to whip up a batch of juice with cheesecake and blueberry. OMG...it's awful!!! I don't know why I thought cheescake would be a good thing to vape?!?!?
A blueberry cheesecake is great!...but its not easy to perfect, and must steep a week or so.

Well Piper is a reject from a puppy mill...at some point she got kicked and has a mis-set rib...he mother was the mill... well one of them...we lost her a few mo ago But I am sure she had a MUCH better life here w us being fawned over and spoilt...then there are a couple of others...just wonderful dogs someone didnt see fit to give the love they deserve...

My cousin in Mo helps out a rescue for weims there...He fosters and gives his time...and YES weims are some of the Neediest dogs in the world...and OHHH PLZ make sure their tails are docked as puppies...

We saw an advert for for a Blue Abyssinian kitten. Wow, a blue cat, how amazing, we thought. Drove 200 miles to buy her and when we got there it was just grey, not blue at all. We were so disappointed.

But, having driven so far we bought it anyway, thinking maybe it would turn blue as it got older. Never did.

What a rip-off. :(

I love anyone that rescues animals, no matter what kind.
Kudos to all who do so, because these four-legged folks deserve a better life than they knew before.

It makes me cry that so many animals are treated so poorly.
And it makes me angry, but that is for another discussion.

lol. Yea, I know what you mean. Zach's real color is grey too. When he was a puppy though he was the most gorgeous steel blue color. The coat changes to a dark grey or black as they grow. Still gorgeous, just not blue.

Same with Cleo the Abby, totally gorgeous. Always amuses me that they're called Blue though, sort of false advertising really!

I was a bit remiss in singling out our four-legged folks.
There are plenty of two-legged folks who need help, love, and attention.

Like birdies, and such.
Heck even two-legged folks deserve love.

And even those without any legs at all.
Like snakes and stuff.

Now eight-legged creatures, well, that gets complicated.
Like Black Widows and such.

I'm not much of a fan of that many legs.
It kinda creeps me out.

But how many legs you have should not define you.
So think about all of our fellow brethren, no matter how many legs they have.

lol the wife says my job it to deal with all that in the house w more than 4 legs

I personally dont mind more than 4 legs as long as it doesn't bite me,sting me, or crawl on me while I'm sleeping...heck I pick up caterpillers and geckos and carry them back outside...and yes spiders too...
