Now I've quit people have told me that I used to stink so badly that they knew I'd recently been in the lift at the office even when I was no longer in it. How bad is that?

I couldn't believe how the odor from cigarettes came back in the car on a hot day 8 months after I quit smoking.
I went to the grocery store yesterday and on my way out I caught a whiff of something very foul indeed. It smelled familiar, yet foreign at the same time. It took a while to register that it was cigarette smoke. 
Seriously though, not many people smoke where I live. It had been almost 3 weeks since I last saw anybody smoking.

Funny, my husband swears our house doesn't smell like smoke (yes, he still smokes and in the house). I've been trying to tell him that it does, but he just won't believe it. We'll have non-smokers come over the house and he'll ask them and they all say no, they can't smell it. Are these people crazy? I can't smell it either, since I'm still in the "thick of it" so to speak pretty much 24/7 due to my work from home arrangement, but I know it has to smell, how can it not?

I'm really befuddled that people actually like the ~taste~ of analogs. My wife is still STILL searching for something that tastes like her old analogs. I tell her to chew the old rusted tailpipe of the lawnmower...
Even the Cigar flavored liquids don't come close to cigarette tastes (thankfully because some of those are awesome)...

I think there are some good tobacco flavors, but I don't think they taste anything like a cigarette. Backwoods Brew Casablanca is a nice tobacco with the perfect amount of caramel. It's really good. I wish I hadn't gotten the 30mL bottle at 24mg though. I dropped to 18mg after two weeks. I'm scared to dilute it down because I'll lose the flavor. I guess I could get lower mg bottle though. Then again, I have a ton of DIY stuff... Like enough to make 2 gallons. I think I went a bit overboard.
To me, a good tobacco liquid doesn't taste like a cigarette; it tastes what fresh tobacco smells like.
I have a vague distant memory from my childhood of my grandfather's pipe tobacco. My current favorite, Flavour Art Maxboro, reminds me of that.

I don't like the smell of smoke ON people but I like the smell of smoke in the air. I can walk by someone smoking and it smells good to be. However, if one of my coworkers comes back in from a smoke and sits in my office - P-U!!! I don't like it. My poor never-smoker hubby - I really didn't think I smelled.
