I've seen a few threads in OUTSIDE, mostly on accident... It's really hard to get under my skin, but there was a certain thread about a certain topic and this certain member was dismissing any arguments made by members with dissenting views... He made a pretty bold statement about a certain something and it turns out he was wrong by a large certain amount... Magnus commented on his post, but didn't call him out on the discrepancy... I was so disappointed.

If you're not talking about Jerry's inappropriate use of the Gamma Function or his 1.6dpg number then I'm unsure which you are talking about. I specifically didn't call that out because I tried to back away and then once I got mad again Angus had closed the thread.

If it's the thread about troop withdrawals then I just don't have the right information because I am quite a bit confused now after that thread.

If it's the recent thread that included multiple false statements about power generation capacities I didn't call out a certain somebody because I had already done so previously in other threads and got nowhere.

Otherwise it's entirely probable I didn't know enough to pick the fight. Want me to pick it? ;-) -Magnus

The rule about the OUTSIDE! is to just listen to Magnus. That's really the only thing you need to know.

watch it though Magnus I do know from experience some people will just have to find out for themselves...take the friend I was speaking of...he hated PVs 6 mo ago...now he has 10 diff kits...lol

Heck yeah I did.... Nate is giving me an opportunity to re-open a closed thread perhaps. ;-)

During two threads I was getting ten or eleven PMs a hour from people not participating asking me questions of giving me data. The OUTSIDE! is a spectator sport. -Magnus

Now Nate has me thinking back.... was it the Bitcoin valuation that was wrong that I let go? Was it the numerous repeated FairTax debates that were full of whacky numbers?

I do believe the third was from the thread I mentioned (I haven't finished reading it), but I don't believe we're talking about the same comment. It wasn't so much power generation capacities as it was percentage of power sources created and used.

I would never ask someone to pick a fight for me. Though you are far more eloquent than myself when it comes to such things.

I'm sorry that I've been MIA for quite some time, but the stress of everyday life (and a few of the QSMB members) required that I log on my computer to check email and do homework (with the occassional peek in here. LOL) So, there's NO WAY I'm going to be able to catch up by reading at this point, so anybody wanna give me the short version of what's being going on?????

We are seeing new ppl join, and the talk has been positive. Even offered up some help for a qsmb members mom, to get her going. The chat has been back and forth, various subjects, and entertaining. But seems to get quiet about midnight.

Thanks Randy and Big Chief! I think I know who's mom you're talking about. She was one of the few people who reached out to me pretty early on and was very friendly and supportive. There are definitely some decent people over there. I think they're just hesitant to openly welcome us with the mob squad in control. Speaking of the mob squad, have any of them settled down yet?

Pretty quiet on QSMB, bit more rational than it was previously but the regular "lunatic fringe" are still ranting intermittently. There's only a few of them, but they do go on a bit. Most are actually very nice.

well theirs things other then smoking I'd love to chat about but alot of people see quit sites as thats all you talk about which yeah thats the purpose but I don't know about you but theirs more to life then being an ex smoker or whatever-just my take ok.
