well theirs things other then smoking I'd love to chat about but alot of people see quit sites as thats all you talk about which yeah thats the purpose but I don't know about you but theirs more to life then being an ex smoker or whatever-just my take ok.

Well we're not just talking about quitting smoking here...

@hobotivo it was hot today here in Dallas but now its a nice 80 or lower...I would have to get up to check...Ohh send pics of the sunsets PLZ!!!
I was in Washington State when St Helens blew her top....the view(I went about as close as I could get w/o getting smashed by debris or burnt to a crisp)
was spectacular...and for the next few days the sunsets were beautiful...(madman gets all warm and fuzzy remembering the good ole days)

my test in my mod of 4 lifepo 14500s went spectacularly...I got about 10-12 hr running 3.6v-7.2 didn't expect that from a set of 400mah batteries...I vape moderately interspersed w heavy chain vaping sessions...

My digital camera was packed away (I've just moved house) so I didn't take any personally.

First congrats on those test you were doing for going so well!
It is inconceivable that you got 10-12 hours out of a set of 400 mah batteries!
Incredible! I'll be waiting for you to design my next new mod!
I remember St Helens and Boston was completely covered in ash for weeks afterward.
People had taped up their windows like it was a hurricane coming or something.
It was such a black and dusty dirty mess plus it was hard for those of us who smoked or had asthma to breathe.
I was hacking the whole time it was raining ash, it was just awful.

Hey, at least you have some sunsets down there at the moment. Up here on the mainland it is bloody cold and wet, plus you have that little island all to yourselves right now anyway

not really... if I am figuring this correctly with the high efficiency regulator it was barely making a draw on the batteries...
I need the wife to do the math on my setup(minor brain damage I was a blue baby cant do math right)
I'm going to attempt to duplicat the results in a few days but
1) I have to recharge the batts
2) I'm going to document how much juice I go through to get a base of how much work it actually did...

Hi guys sorry my attendance is sporadic at best this week. Have been catching up on the website and trying to get all our ducks in a row with the new location we just added.

Plus had to fight with the hubby for awhile...we hadn't had our weekly argument in a couple weeks.

If it helps this is the only thread I've been on over here since Friday and have made maybe 4 posts total on the other board.

agreed one of my friends never gave ECF much of a chance cause one of his first things he did was got bored(he thinks he's always right untill he's proven wrong then he gets mad... ) he went into the ouside forum and looked at a thread and quit showing up...Heck he seems to be mad at me now too...he hasn't talked to me in weeks...his loss IMHO...this is a great forum but each area has a purpose...

thanks-thats one thing I truly miss on the Q board some topics are really forbidden & I've been watching the case lately which means some nite I come here tired & those are the nites I need to rein it in-but thanks for telling me theirs a place to talk about it.

LOL I don't really care...people always talk people always debate and sometimes they get really peeved...and some don't know how to debate civilly...also not my problem...and worse still there are those that cant see reason or worst of all like the conflict...also not my problem...this forum is great because of the freedom allowed here...and the nice people on it...I have been to others populated by kids and troublemakers...they don't get far here...

(Insert a little puppy w brown nose) no really I greatly appreciate the moderators keeping their eyes peeled...yea sometimes they may close a thread that I am interested in seeing the result but then again most of the time the results won't be pretty...they do a good job of keeping the peace...and thats one of the things that holds this forum together...

as I have said before there is a time and place for everything and in some cases this forum is just not it...

me well I just muddle along musing on my next great idea hoping it will go somewhere big in the end...
