This isn't about a simple joke it is about being accountable for your words and your actions.
You can holler all you want about being "picked on" but your words stand as a testament to your actions on any board Beth. I'm sorry you cannot see that.
Even so I would still be willing to help you find an appropriate device for your family members.:)

I gotta agree with what's been said here, Beth. I don't want you to stop posting, or even to pick a side, but it would be nice if you didn't play nice here and turn into your evil twin on the Q board. I find it hard to believe that you missed the fact that Brad's nasty post was directed to e-cig people in general and C.B. in particular. Honestly, most things that Brad posts directly after an e-cig person's post is usually offensive and attacking. Not sure how that could have escaped your notice.

Seriously Beth you somehow didn't see the whole post?
I also find that hard to believe.

Who asked for your opinion about cigars or even mentioned them?
You must not have your tri-focals on I guess.
You implying that I should pushed down the stairs just goes to show what kind of person you truly are.

Well I did look at the slinky post & thought oh he hates the smell of cigars well I think their stinky too & thats all I took from it-couldn't figure out why you thought he was slamming you but since I've been told I must have a reading comprehension problem maybe thats why I don't see what others see in my post or why others can be kinda rude but I'm not suppose to see it that way. Why you still persist in thinking I'd wish you harm is beyond me this is the 2nd time I said that wasn't my intention. No I don't wear glasses when I lost my insurance over 10 yrs ago I quit wearing glasses,I mostly have trouble with really small print.

Nitejanitor, I suggest, if you're heart truly lies in the right place, you think long and hard before further responding. Each post just emphasises your complete lack of awareness of the situation. You do come off awfully two-faced and sometimes crude. Giving you the benefit of the doubt becomes harder and harder each hole-digging post. So if you're being misunderstood here, please take some time to make that clear. It's not personal but it might become just that very quickly. -Magnus

I'm sorry it became personal awhile ago. It just frusrates me that no matter what I say it gets twisted around so I'm the bit** or whatever. Just shows me that trying to understand your postion & why you believe as you do was maybe a big mistake-it seems like since I've tried to be decent & learn from you all I keep getting kicked to the curb for trying. Maybe while off sat-tues. I'll give it some thought whether to continue on any quit site after all I've made it almost 10 months maybe its time to cut the cord.......

Apparently thats another over my head post-man it must be true-being a janitor who enjoys her job & does it with pride must lose whatever few brains God gave her.....what gets to me is that I hate it when its implied here & the Q board that I'm not the sharpiest knife in the drawer-well that may be how some people see me but I don't think I'm that much a box of rocks & to me its real rude to imply it.

I'm thrilled you do your job with pride more people could learn from that.
Beth the "glasses comments" were directed at Brad it was part of that post and I never said you wished I was pushed down the stairs. I said if you think it's funny what he said then you can't claim to to not know what else was said, and yes I'm paraphrasing. Not for nothing but you seem to always claim not to know what was or is going on.
I find it disingenuous sorry but I do.
If you think you should get offline far be it from me to tell you what you need to do......
mostly.:p
Let's move on shall we?

I have a well seasoned 75 year old cast iron frying pan given to me as a gift from my dear old granny. Easily the best cooking utensil I have in my kitchen.

Same here, my Gran still has her fleet of TEN Griswold (the best according to old people in the know) skillets given to her by Great Gran Hazel. In daily use since the Great Depression. Definately an item that "they just don't make like they used to".

Thank goodness I convinced the wife to donate our "T-FAIL" pots to goodwill.

Also cast iron fry pans are better for you health wise or so I was told yrs ago.

Seems obvious in hindsight, I learned recently that you can get most of your daily Iron intake just by simply using a cast iron skillet to cook your food. Won't OD on Iron or anything (unless the pan is rusting... but then why are you cooking with it)...

Initially I though of a McD's "Big Mac" box... I was like, "Chief, you can only fit like 3 allen wrenches in there."

I find their "You stay in your corner and don't you venture out of it!" attitude laughable when they make it a point to comment on posts in the e-cig subforum.

Since the e-cig subforum was added, along with the rest of the subforums detailing various quit methods, there has been a way to view the Q forum "the old way". Hit Board Index --> View New posts. That's how I still do it, shows the posts that have recent activity, regardless of where they are actually located on the forum.

Could explain why they are able to jump in whenever convenient, as this view method makes it dead-simple.
