The first time was because it got wet inside when my "Vapemate" auto emptied into my atty and the second time I dropped it. Do not get the impression that it is fragile it isn't!
It just happened to hit it oddly maybe I think it jarred loose a wire.
If not the Darwin the Provari for sure it is also variable voltage.:)

The next time I offer to man a July 4th BBQ tent, I'm asking for something resembling AC. I need two showers and an ice bath. And we're still not done. -Magnus

Know what you mean. I just tried to sit on my porch (in the shade) and lasted about 10 minutes. Can't even imagine in a tent. At least it's a noble cause your pursuing.

Good Job. :)

I remember the humidity in FL just being nasty. Take a shower, dry off, still wet...

Do they still do the fireworks at the pier? Funky upside down pyramid... Fun times.

Ok I'm sadly awake again........

I noticed that the thread Stephanie and krapiem intentionally derailed has been locked.
Way to remove any and all info about ecigs "Freddyboy".:glare:

Oh well, it'll make it easier to keep out of there, that was the only thread of any real interest atm. I'm a bit annoyed though, I'd only just put up a link to the Royal College of Physicians paper on Harm Reduction (which a lot of them REALLY need to read) before it got locked. I'll post a link again when a suitable thread appears, it's just so far and away the best paper I've read. Possibly a little above the comprehension level of those who need it most, unfortunately. :(

Happy Fourth from AU! It's already the 5th here, and we're battening down for high winds and blizzards. I don't mind, I love wild weather but my wife verges on phobic about wind, so it won't be good for her :(

Cheers

Happy 4th guys! Been busy with the staycation :) Had a blast with the kids, but sadly I did not win the lottery so it is back to work for me tomorrow after 11 days of bliss (and sleeping in!) Had a great Canada Day with my hubby and little one. My son went camping with his dad and after 20 minutes of blessing me with his presence tonight has now gone out with his girls...oh to be an 18 year old.

Enjoying the heat here as well :) I have another month and a half and then I am on vacation again. C'mon August 19th...is that bad?? I really do love my job LOL.

That's why I have a hard time with laptops. At home I have dual 24" monitors and at work I have a triple display setup. :)

Another sign of my antiquity... When I was working they gave me a second monitor at my desk. I was dumbfounded, I hated it and had it removed. I couldn't see the point and it got in the way of my flowcharts. Damn thing had COLOUR too, when all a mainframer needs is green on black.

Cheers

Ugh, I would hate to cancel any days off - especially 2 weeks. Are you going to be taking them later? We had furlough days last year and they canceled them this year but gave you the option of taking 5 days off without pay (comes off my check each month) so I took it and leave every Friday at noon for 12 weeks instead of taking 5 actual days - just broke it down into a weeks work of hours! I will do it again next year if they offer it. TOTALLY worth it.

Yeah, we have a vacation planned for September so I tacked an extra week on that and we'll just stay home the 2nd week and laze around. I get 20 vacation days, 2 personal days and 8 summer Fridays off and we're so busy at work right now it's going to be hard to find the time to take it all. If we don't use them we lose them, so I'll have to fit them in somehow.

ETA: although it is a nice dilema to have, last year I ran out of vacation time by August. :(

Maybe repost it in it's own thread in the e-cig section?
