I haven't tried candy cane, so I don't know. Candy bar and OMG have caramel flavorings and will mature a bit. They are good out of the box, but will become more rich after a week (or more). Compared to some vendors that have juices that need steeping, I think steeping only improves on the KBV (especially the caramel ones). I've had ones (from other vendors) that I can't vape out of the mailbox that become vapeable after steeping. I have a Candy Bar that's 2 months or so old and another that's only a couple weeks. They are close in flavor, but the 2 month old one is very rich and decadent. The younger one is good, but it lacks that caramel smooth goodness that the older one has. I'll have to revisit my OMG, it was good out of the box, I was just on the Hummingbird Nectar so much that I didn't want to deviate.

XP was a bug ho and required massive maintenance/admin work, 98 had driver issues and was supposed to be the home PC grail (it was ok..). But... XP was a speed improvement on 2000. 2000 was nice, but it could be slowwww... Much like Vista is to Windows 7. I'm still getting comfortable with Windows 7, I just don't spend enough time with it. I like not having to fiddle with updates or tweaking or all that jazz anymore...

I think my taste buds are dulled right now too I've been vaping the heck out of my VR..... all I can taste on the Candy Bar is the peanut... well not quite true I get a hint of caramel.... put it this way right now it tastes like a payday to me rather than a Snickers.... good though they gnailed the peanut unbelievably.... I just feel like I need to give it a week or so before I pass judgement on this juice. VR lets theirs steep before they sell it so for the most part what you get when you open it is what its going to be.

The nougat and caramel will be more prevalent in a little bit on the Candy Bar. Might also depend on voltage/wattage. Dog and I do taste testing on eGos, but we usually use a Darwin (me) or an Infinity (him). So, we tend to boost it a bit and the flavors are a bit more intense.

I'm using an Ego with the CE2 5s. I just got a couple echo-e cartos in but I haven't gotten around to trying them yet... I have to pick the perfect flavor for a carto that big.

CE2s are ok, better than a carto (at least for me), but I'm still a big fan of dripping, or rather soaking a 306 (via a REO Grand). What's the size on the echo's?

... being told how stable it was and finding it crashed just as often as 98 did.

I found it hilarious how so many were trashing Vista by saying, "Look at how wonderful and stable XP is!" Don't bother mentioning it really wasn't stable until SP1 came out. Wouldn't want to cloud the issue with facts.

I never had any issues with Vista other than the occasional driver conflict. I built a new PC at the time of its release so I went with it as the OS. Of course, I knew Vista was a resource hog and I took more than a couple seconds to make sure my system could handle it. Everyone I know that had issues was slapping it on hardware that could barely handle XP...

You know this isn't exactly on topic with your post but... I am one of the few techs I know that never warmed up to that OS... I liked Vista better if you can believe it... yes you read that right Vista....that's how much I hated XP

I got to be fairly "expert" at troubleshooting and fixing XP problems over time due to necessity. My one Vista installation (on a home-built gaming system) has been nearly flawless, so I haven't developed troubleshooting skills for it (no necessity). It's got some quirks, but I like it far better than any previous Windows version. I still use XP quite a lot though.

If I could convince the board of directors to flush the entire scheme and go with a standard *nix POS I'd be ecstatic! Heck even OS/2 would be great for what we need (still used to great effect in older ATM machines everywhere).

When I mention things like this to the non-technical folks at work, they tend to perk up their ears and crock (without the R, silly censor software) their head sideways slightly, just like a puppy would do when confused (only not nearly as cute).

The mainframe guys just look at me and smile, then offer to buy me a drink.

Just give me a week and the appropriate perl one-liner! :)

Looks like they are ordering me a windows 7 machine for work. This will be my first exposure to it. My last work machine had XP, as do all the ones we have at home. It should be interesting switching back and forth between a Mac and a PC all day long. I can barely remember keyboard short cuts now.... now, why isn't ctrl-c working on this stupid Mac!!!

And I thought I was the only one besides my professor that felt like that.... go figure... still 7 is what Vista should have been.

Yeah, I can't wait to upgrade to 7... it's on my list, down a few lines from "Get a job"

Using XP in an engineering environment required me to be an expert. The IT folks were fine with typical Windows Word/Excel/etc. type problems, but really couldn't support most of the engineering applications and uses. Some even liked to blame all "network" problems on something "those damn engineers" had done!

Command+C? What function are you trying to do?

Windows 7 UI is significantly different from XP and takes some getting use to if you aren't familiar with libraries/locations/lexicon/etc (wow, that's a lot of L's...)
