We The People is a site started by the Obama Administration to allow citizens to start and sign petitions. If over 5000 people sign, someone in the administration will actually see the petition. Someone started one to recognize e-cigarettes as a viable alternative.

Right now it only has 2 signatures (one of them mine), let's see if we can get it over 5k!

30 days to get 5000 sigs, go for it.
Would love to see something similar here in Ireland, we just start facebook campaigns.

Hopefully, this site alone gets enough traffic. If the petition to legalize (I can't say it the filters delete the word) has 38K signatures, surely we can do it. After all when's the last time you could get 38,000 stoners to do anything since Woodstock? :laugh:

I tried to sign but needed to register first.
I registered but had to validate my email address before I could sign.
I clicked the validation link and tried cut and paste and the link is no good for validating.

I'll keep trying but they sure make it hard...
<sigh>

I had to work at it. I got several 404s' and we are working on the site, bla bla bla, but it did work eventually.

Finally.
Signed and then forwarded via FaceBook, Twitter, and personal emails

I think we need to make this a sticky.
If we can't get 5000 signatures we are in REAL trouble.
If we believe we have a 'right' to vape then we need to show that we are willing and able to fight to retain that right, less others more vocal or active take that right away from us.
