I can't get it to work. I signed up and did the confirmation email, but when I go to the petition page, the button to sign is greyed out. I can't figure out how to get it to work.

I'm sorry, but what is the point of this? If Obama starts recognizing ecigs, then he will regulate and tax the heck out of us, and our vendors. This is not a good idea, IHMO. But, perhaps I am misuderstanding what everyone is afraid of, what statements from the FDA has everyone scared?
There will be no vendors if they can't keep an open shop due to high taxes.. If ecigs are banned, we would be living in a commy country,, If that happens, I move to Canada or join the airforce.. Do pp really think ecigs will be banned?
Edit: The ingredients and products used to vape are everyday houshold things, what are they going to ban all of them? That would be a very silly move on a certain administrations fault, IMHO.

...don't believe they will be banned BUT, regulation and taxation are coming...how much and what kind will depend on how much noise we can raise to offset BT/BP and their flunkies, the FDA...the only control we have over the FDA is either thru law suits(already happened) of thru the politicians who control FDA's funding...............

I'm just iffy about raising a flag on ecigs, on this site.. Could be the flavor of the week to them...

I think people are afraid to voice their opinion. Which to me makes no sense. If you have found it to "help" you, why wouldnt you want everyone to know? If your afraid of "New Taxes", well get over it, it is going to happen if you believe it or not. If the government can sqeeze a penny out of ANYTHING, They WILL! They still cant tax it enough, IMO, to make it just as exspensive as analogs. Just my 2 cents.

Agreed, and I will add this. This site was designed to spread awareness and knowledge of these devices. No one here should run scared now because it worked. With the popularity these devices are gaining because of those of us here and on other informational sites this industry is growing exponentially every year. First 100's of users, then 1000's of users, then 100's of thousands and now millions of users. When something gets that big that fast the Government is GOING to take notice. We may as well voice the direction that we as the people who use them, would like to see it go.
Just my 2 cents for any Naysayers to take into consideration.
