I need some help.

I am looking into buying a new E-cigarette. The one I currently have is a DSE-901 (which is nice), but I'm looking for some other options. I have gone to sites such as blucigs.com and myluci.com and I'm starting to get the feeling that most of them are DSE-901's.

Two parts to this questions:

1) Are these companies using private labels on top of the DSE-901 to sell there product?
2) What patents exist on current popular models, such as the DSE-901 and the DSE-701?

Any information would be helpful.

Neither the blu nor the Luci is a DSE901. For one thing, at around 88 mm, they are two of the shortest Super-Minis – much shorter than the 118 mm DSE901, the longest Mini.

I don't know about label patents, but I do know that many suppliers (including some very major players) have renamed models like the KR808D-1 (Vapor King, Nebula, Ace, Easy, VapoRite, etc.) and Joye510 (Yeti, Titan, Dura). I doubt very much whether companies like Vapor4Live, Puresmoker, AltSmoke, Totally Wicked, and Janty are all violating international patent law. They buy parts from the manufacturers and package and market them in creative ways.

Interestingly, I can't think of any marketing names for the DSE901 other than its category: Mini.

[Hmm. Maybe I should buy a bunch of 901s, fiddle with the batteries, and sell it as the DaBoomVape – "One vape and it goes da boom!";)]
