Hey guys. Just started using e-cigarettes a few days ago starting with the health e-cigarette (didn't want a big investment if i turned out to not like it) and already want to upgrade something better. Biggest concerns for me that i'm not getting with the health model are ease of draw (you have to suck pretty hard on the health to get anything. some people here have described it as drinking a milkshake through a straw) and the "throat hit" feeling you get when you suck down a hit. (have yet to feel that with the health model and it's one of my favorite sensations when smoking.)

And if this isn't demanding enough i'd prefer to spend less than $50. Anyone have any suggestions from their own experience or know a good site for me to start looking?

Thanks.

hello and welcome to the forum and the first day of the rest of your life as a non smoker if you experience anything like me :)

I used to smoke between 20 and 40 a day, and I can say this: 5 days and not one real cig at present.

I bought a Joytech 510 in the shape of a TECC Titan 510. if you are in the US, I believe totally wicked supply these, as do Janty as the Dura.

these e cigs offer extreme amounts of vapour and unlimited pull length, ease of pull but not too easy, fairly good battery life and the manual battery is a dream to behold compared to most over sensitive autos I have seen, and the price is not bad for what you get

I got a spare atomizer, 10 starter cartridges, and I purchased some e liquid 30ml from totally wicked and some empty carts to self refill the day after it arrived and I decided it was the best for me.

alot of people rate the DSE 901 for starters, but I am a first timer, and the 510 is excellent.

there is a forum for the 510 exclusively and the 901 alike, so feel free to use search or those forums to compare.

510 is slightly more expensive but as with anything in this world you do pay for what you get and this one was worth it for me. each to their own though as they say. :)

good luck :)

happy vaping.

I would like to buy joytech 510 model, but it seems to me that joytech models are very unreliable. I have few models RN4081, M401, M402, M403 and Ecis. Last one Ecis (from Boge technology) is in fact Joytech JKY303A model.

Only on JKY303A (ecis) I never know when the atomizer could die. With other atomizers I have no problem. On the other side, vapor production is great, it has cca 106mm lenght, litle bit heavier and bigger than RN4081 model. Atomizer is open type and it is not good for driping. Switch is extremly sensitive, he activate even on shaking the e-cigarette. Withdrav is easy, even easier than M401 models. Bateries are very good something like RN4081, two bats are enough for 1 day. Finishing is not great. If you refill your cartridge you must be shure to push the litle white reservoir with e-liquid to the bothom of cartridge, if not the withdrav is extremly heavy. All together very good vaporing experience, for me even bether than RN4081.

Any recommendation and experiences about Joytech models reliability, especially 510 model???

I too just got the Health E Cigarette. Besides the price,I liked that it was all self contained in a cigarette pack. What I did discover is that they apparently ship with the light or med cartridges. I bought a 12 pack of the high mg cartridges & I'm getting that throat hit.
I guess battery & atomizer life is what counts. Being this is my 1rst day vaping, I have nothing to judge by. I was looking to see if anyone had a lot of experience with this model, battery life, etc. I'm leaving for Mexico next week & I want to make sure I'm covered. Any feedback would be great.
BTW, thanks to the ones behind this forum. There seems to be a wealth of info here.

Cheers,
NB
