So I was browsing through a semi-outdated copy of Dr. Leonard's catalog this evening. One of my little old ladies left it on my bus the day I got fired from my job, and I forgot all about it along with the two tangerines I left in my lunchbox (mummified fruit, anyone?)

For those of you who are unfamiliar with it, Dr. Leonard provides a selection of dubious medical supplies, cheap bras and sandals, and the occasional as-seen-on-tv invention that answers a problem you never knew you had and you know you really shouldn't get it because you know it's going to be really cheaply made and break within a week of use.

Anyways I had noticed one of those cigarette filters within the first few pages, smirked at my freedom from such contrivances, and continued through a selection of topical pain relievers and weight loss miracles. But what do I spy on the second to last page?

Well now. I guess the initial kit isn't too terrible a price considering what the mall kiosk guys want to charge us, but hell, $30 for ten refills? Highway robbery much. This is even more unreasonable than the price of, say, v2 cartridges.

Sadly this catalog is mostly aimed, in my experience, at the very elderly and those on limited incomes who may not be in a position to ever learn that there are better ways to make the switch. But what did I really expect from a cheap magazine full of miracle promises.

I guess the point I'm arriving at eventually is that I loved my old retirees I used to cart around to lunch and the doctor, and I'm mildly offended by this, and by the promises it's made and I'm pretty sure it can't keep. That and being lumped in somewhere between "fat burning cream" and "magic nail growth serum" isn't doing much for the vaping communities credibility.
