Hi there i am new to e-cigerattes , and i am smoking for the past 12 years and i am kind of really addicted to it and i cannot smoke in the public places , because of some personal problems and some inferiority complex that i am looking lot younger as my age is although 30 i will look like a 18 year old . So people give me that look of age 18 who is smoking , that makes me feel bad and now i have planned to quit smoking because of some problems . Health as well as looking at the future how this smoking is ruining my life. So here is my question .

As far as smoking is concerned with me i will take up to 12 cigerattes per day , if i dont smoke i am getting very tensed and my lungs are becoming tight and i cannot be free like when i smoke so on . I am from india , here we dont have that much amount of e-cigeratte brands here so i ordered from a company called smokefree and what i want to know is does e-cigerattes satisfy the cravings that cigeratte satisfies and will i be addicted because of trying e cigerattes . I dont want to get addicted to e-cigerattes.

This is the e-cigeratte i have purchased USB KIT - KitsKindly give me sugessions about this too.

Rgds

Ecigs contains the same addictive ingredient as regular cigs, nicotine. The good part about ecigs is that you can step down your nicotine intake and eventually get down to 0 nic if you want. As for feeling like a cig depends on the equipment you have. They worked for me and many others on this forum. Just start looking through the posts to get info and if you can't find what ur looking for just post another thread like you did and these great people will be happy to help you out

if you want to be as satisfied as a normal cigarette, you may need a better e-cig. The 501-off-brands typically dont deliver much throat hit and lack good consistent vapor production. try an Ego style e-cig. If you have a PV and good juice with enough vapor and enough TH it takes your mind off the nicotine a little more so you can drop your nicotine levels that way. Start off at 18mg nicotine, then a month later, drop it lower.

Thats what i have planned for about quitting , but what i am asking is it that much satisfying like cigerattes and will i get addicted to it ?

If I understand your questions correctly:

For me and many others, E-cigs are definitely as satisfying as cigarettes.

When you switch to e-cigs, you will still be addicted to the nicotine if you use a liquid that contains nicotine. You will not become addicted to the E-cig itself, but rather, will still be addicted to nicotine.

Besides the physical addiction to nicotine, there are the hand-to-mouth-to-inhale motions that are also part of smoking and vaping experience. It is possible that you will remain addicted to them, but not to the same extent as nicotine addiction.

ok i get your point . First let me try the e-cigerattes

OK, I would like to add that the E-cig you are looking at claims that one cartridge is equal to a pack of cigarettes. This is not true. Not even close. More like equal to 5 cigarettes at most.

There are better starter kits to be had. How much is Rs 500 in US dollars?

If you would like suggestions for a better kit, I, and many others here would be glad to offer some suggestions.

Hello and welcome. :) E cigs are a great replacement for smoking. You get the nicotine but not all of the other chemicals, and those are the harmful things. Nicotine is not harmful. Also, unlike other forms of nicotine replacement, it helps with the mental addiction to smoking because it replaces the physical aspects of smoking. So you can continue to pretend to smoke, for lack of a better word, while you lower your nicotine and break that addiction. It is a great, much healthier alternative to smoking. And hopefully being free of that cigarette addiction will help yo feel better about yourself. :toast:

With an ecig that has enough power to deliver what you need, most people find that they can easily quit smoking without much trouble. With a PV and eliquid that has the right amount of nic level for you, you will not have nicotine cravings. The physical withdrawal symptoms you will have will be from all the chemicals that are in analogs which are not in ecigs, and the ecigs will mitigate most of those. Once you have gotten thru the loss of the addictive chemicals in analogs, you will be able to easily cut down on the amount of nicotine you need and eventually, if you desire, can vape 0 nic eliquids, or quit vaping entirely.
