To answer your question on if you will be addicted to E-Cigs, Yes, they are addicting just like the Real ones you now smoke. You said you get a tight chest and other sign's of addiction if you dont smoke a real cig for awhile during the day. The good thing about the E-Cig is you can start out on a high level of nicotine and step down at your own rate to a much smaller amount and keep useing your E-Cig which is much safer than a real one, OR you can drop all the way down to zero nicotine and just put everything away and call it quits. Its up yo you how you apporach this. Keep in mind, useing an E-Cig in one sitting takes twice as long as it would if you were useing real cig, so it usually takes twice the time to satisify your craveing for the nicotine per E-Cig use. You also should learn how to use your E-Cig the right way, it makes all the difference in the world. Happy vapeing, i hope it works for you.

The feeling from an ecig will take more time to kick in because the vapor is real dense making it harder to absorb. Best thing i found was to take a puff, hold a sec or 2 in your mouth then take a slow long puff in the lungs. Exhale through your nose. The vapor is better absorbed in the mouth and nose. As for the carto being finished, if you taste burnt stuff or smell burnt smell, then your done, and if you dont refil yourself, just throw it out and take new one and go again. On flavored ones with a heavy flavor, youll be out most times when the flavor is very weak and your vapor is alot less(thats before you vape it to a burnt taste, which i dont recomend, it tasts aweful)

I use 36mg juice. Tobaco RED from bloogplanet.com Any 36mg juice will work better for you if your urging. I use 36mg carto when i wake up and have coffee while playing battlefield3, then u use 24mg carto until after dinner. Few minutes on the 36mg and back to the 24mg till i goto bed. Its working fine, went from 20+ cigs a day to 2-3 a week.

I am still not able to control my urge to smoke . I have smoked about 5 cigerattes today . Still came from 12 to 5 cigeratte . Can i control . Give me some hope guys and i think some higher concentration of nicotine i think ...........

For me, smoking involves many many rituals and arenas. That break I get getting up from my desk and going outside to smoke, getting away from the stress of the office. Or taking those moments on a porch at home to enjoy the outside and have a cigarette. Giving up analogs might just mean taking some steps, then taking some more.

For me, right now, I don't smoke in the car anymore, even in intense traffic or on long drives, I vape instead. That one step cut down almost a quarter of my smoking. I'm starting to replace my breaks outside with getting up, vaping a bit, fixing myself a cup of coffee, and still taking that break away from the work. That's cut another quarter of my smoking.

I've gone from a two pack a day habit to maybe ten cigarettes, each of them at the time and place of my choosing, no longer a driving need. Upping the concentration can help, but most of all, you should really look at when and where you smoke the most, and why, and see if you can use vaping to get you through that portion of the day. Celebrate your accomplishments - you've cut out more than half of your habit, that's awesome.

Hi kane and welcome to ECF! I too am looking to get off the nicotine. To answer your question. 'will I get addicted to the ecig'...in itself no, what you are addicted to is the nicotine. The ecig has the nicotine in it, but it dosen't have the other 200+ toxic chemicals that cigarettes do. You need to find what mg strength you need to get you from smoking analogs (cigarettes) if the 18 mg dosen't work, try upping it some. If you start getting headaches, you need to lower it some. I hope what you ordered has a manual battery instead of an automatic. Manual batteries will last ALOT longer than automatics. Keep posting questions, we're here to help.

Ooops..I missed reading a couple of pages there. Don't give up!! It takes some trial and error on everyone's part to find Your sweet spot! And getting an ecig is not going to make you magically not want to smoke analogs from the get go! It's going to take a few days for you to get the hang of how to vape, so give yourself some time and be patient. Don't get down on yoursefl because you smoked an analog! Most of us here started off with smoking ecig and analogs...and the analogs start to drop off by themselves over the days because we prefer the ecig.

This e cigeratte is not working , its not producing enough vapour any suggessions about it .
The only thing that helped me was going for a bigger battery and i went with a CE2 horizontal top coil wich takes a little modding but once you get the hang of it I found it to be my favorite by far. with the coil up towards the top I get most of the heat and vapor with little obstruction to dilute it on the way. Thats what worked for me.:2c:
Good luck and dont give up!
