As the anti smoking lobby can't or won't see the difference between a E Cigg and a real
cigarette how about this to change the name of the E Cigg ,words in caps are my new suggestions ,
you may have other suggestions

1 unit a VAPORETTE
2+units VAPORETTES
1 user a VAPORER
2+ users VAPORRERS
Using VAPORISING
Used in a sentence

I want to buy a VAPORETTE who sells the best VAPORETTES and is it easy to become a VAPORER how many readers are VAPORERS and are happily VAPORISING at this time

I know it is a naff sentence , you can suggest other words but lets get rid of the term E Cigg

I notice you have been a member since 2008 and that this is your first post. So welcome to posting here.

I have only been a member for 2 years but I have been vaping for 9 years (started in late 2006) so I am sure we have both used some of the same equipment. It's not like there was a whole lot of options regarding equipment back in those days. And I would never have discovered e-cigarettes if they had been called something else.

I understand what you are saying but that train has left the station regarding changing the name at this point in time. And as @Izan posted, topics such as this have in the past are like a "can of worms" as they have been debated many, many times here on ECF over the years.

It's not that the anti smoking lobby can't see the difference, it's all about the money. Government, pharmaceutical & tobacco companies are all losing money and the average consumer only knows what they see/hear through newspaper/television/internet.

I completely agree. To make matters worse, we have a good number of vapers who refer to the vapor as "smoke".

If I was to change the name, I would swap from using the first part of cigarette to the last part.
