I workout 5-6 days a week mostly everyday of the week. I stopped smoking analogs about a month ago due to the fact I could barely breathe playing basketball. I use to know how to handle it and managed playing and smoking for about 2 years, but this May I couldnt bare it any longer. Soo I pretty muched stopped smoking. I just bought a started kit with clearos and ecblend e juices so I am waiting for those to arrive to start my new vaping life. Since I quit smoking working out has been much much easier and my lungs are opening up more everyday, I also can do cardio for a long period of time now. Was wondering if anyone has had any bad effects with vaping and working out everyday or has your experience been negative or positive...whatever it is I would like to know so I can be prepared.

It hasn't arrived yet? Almost a week now (isn't it?). I quit back in May as well and workout often. Before I quit I was able to do 1 push-up, now after 4 months of not smoking analogs I can do 2 push-ups. That's a 100% improvement. Maybe by December It will be 3 or 4...

(okay...laughs aside)

Yes. Working out is so much better. The only downside now is...I work out twice as hard and as much just to get tired. Oh, also, my water consumption bill is higher now since I drink more water.

I don't work out everyday, but I like to go for long walks several times a week. When I smoked, I had to take frequent breaks to catch my breath and to rest up a bit. Now, I don't have to do either and I can continue on my walk, with no problems at all. I have had no bad effects during the 3 years that I have been vaping.

Good luck with vaping. I hope that it works out as well for you as it has for me. :thumb:

I've been vaping for about 2 years now and have run 2 5k's do a 3 mile intense hike/run 3-4 times a week, do P90X, Insanity: Asylum and P90X2 and I haven't been affected "lung wise" by vaping yet ... When I did smoke there was no way I could do all that and survive.

wow, your really intese with your work out. I need to get like you! I have done some of the insanity workouts...its not my cup of tea but I do the insane abs almost everyday tho.
great to hear tha good news. Im excited to know that I can workout and vape.

I do Insanity Asylum ... it's a tad different then the original Insanity which I couldn't do because it was too hard on my joints. Still have to rest but it's not from lung capacity it's from sheer exhaustion ;) ... you will find improvement in your workouts over time for sure.

I quit smoking just before I was hit by a car, and I know from experience there is no way I would be rehab'ing as quick as I am now if I was still smoking. When I tore my hamstring back in '09 it took me the better part of 2010 to get back in shape, mostly because I gave up too quick when I would run out of breath.
I vape during my physical therapy sessions for a lil' "oomph", but I don't know if I'd want to vape once I start running again.
