Looks like those of us in Illinois may soon be limited to cigalikes thanks to the organized crime operation known as the state government in Springfield. I live just across the river from Iowa and can get to a vape store there in about 20 minutes. You're not too far from the Wisconsin border, but you'll have to do some googling to find the nearest vape store up there. Unless the Illinois Senate comes to its senses, e-juice will be banned in the state for some time to come. The bill passed the House 105 to 10 with only one Democrat voting nay. Doesn't look good. Still, contact your state senator and tell him/her that this bill will jeopardize your health if you can't get e-juices, and that it will kill small businesses all over the state which won't be able to sell them.

Illinois has a lot of negatives right now. And East St. Louis is the Camden of the Midwest. Your coworkers must live further out. But if you have any interest in Native American history and culture, you'll definitely want to venture across the Mississippi and go for a little ride and visit Cahokia Mounds. It was the largest aboriginal city in what is now the U.S.A. prior to the arrival of Europeans. Fascinating place.

O'Fallon. Not a bad town, other than being stuck in the People's Republik, LOL!

I dunno, there were some pretty sizable settlements in Mesa Verde/Chaco Canyon area, just not much left now.

I've lived in Illinois previously, my step-grandmother was a life-long Chicagoan, her husband a political officeholder for many years. I was exposed to just enough inside dirt about Illinois politics to be supremely and rightfully contemptuous of anything and everything they say, LOL!
