I've received ecig stuff for christmas before. Makes for a great gift for those who are already vaping. Just make sure it's something they would use. For example, an eGo battery maybe not the best choice for someone already using a provari or vamo or the like. But if said person has shown interest in a RBA or rda, but doesn't already have one, that could make a great gift.

Is an e-cig an appropriate gift for Christmas? Seems it would fit nicely in a stocking. Just wondering whether people are giving blingy e-cigs to family, friends for the holidays

Yes it is a great gift.... PM me for my address so you know where to deliver my Provari!!!! :D

Like others said for current smokers some sort of ego would be a great gift even if they havent showed interest in vaping as it might become their way of quitting for good. Even better would be RDAs for current vapers, usually not extremely expensive and always fun to build and use. I would be sooo happy if i woke up on christmas morning and found a brand new dripper under my tree.

I love this idea! An inexpensive starter kit for a smoker, a more advanced device from among their choices for a vaper, or even (I'm already angling for this from family) gift certificates from their favorite vendors. (I sent all my family members links to my preferred vendors. heh heh)

Just to be on the safe side, and since my local B&M has started carrying them, I'm getting myself a Provari for under the tree! :thumb:

My girlfriend had a setup that was ok, like she didnt take care of it because she didnt really use it... she wants to quit and all but just never kept up with it. So i showed her every where I get my stuff from and she was excited, but I knew she wouldn't buy it on her own. So I decided to buy her a nice set up and a case too for her to keep in her purse etc (her previous one had things floating in the liquid in the tank... yeah...) and I was thinking Xmas gift. But then I thought why wait? she wants to quit badly, so I told her about it today when it showed up and just made it a just because gift. I went simple with a few packs of clearos, 2 400mah bats and a bottle of liquid that I know she likes, 2 little sample packs of liquid plus the case and the lil eGo suction cup holder things (which are really great by the way). Total around maybe $60. She's super excited.

So I would say yes, good idea for someone that wants to quit and go with vaping. but keep in mind if they dont know much about vaping, they'll be looking to you for help etc so be sure to give them places to get supplies etc. having a local shop around may be helpful in keeping them to stick to your gift to them, especially if they need to find a go to flavor to vape.
