E-Cigs in advertising

It was a pleasant surprise to read threw my December 31st edition of SI to discover a full page add of njoy King electronic cigarettes.

That was coupled by a TV ad on Spike, that advertised BluCigs with actor Stephen Dorff as the spokesperson.


Granted, most of us know that better products exists, but exposure is so needed.

I love watching where all of this is going. Someone posted an interesting article a while ago that pointed out this is the first time in most of our life times that a "cigarette" product has been advertised on television. Something similar is going to happen in the UK pretty soon; E-cigarette company to launch TV advertising campaign | Media | guardian.co.uk

While I don't think it's made it to television, the stupidity of this commercial still makes me giggle; Sex With a Robot - YouTube
