Got some e-juice and carts from e-smokeytreats today but still waiting on my starter kits from njoy and Bestecig. I don't smoke analogs in my sports car (it doesn't even have an ash tray) but I might like to vape a little while cruising down the road. Before I set my pv down in the plastic cup holders that are part of the center console of the car, I'd like to know if my pen style or 901 might leak juice or get hot enough to burn said cup holder. I try to keep the car as immaculate as possible so I need a heads up about any potential problems.

Thanks, Kim

Hiya Kim,
I have a Vapor King so not the same thing, BUT.... I set my e-cig down on my passenger seat, or on the rubber boot that covers the 4 wheel drive shifter and it doesnt melt the rubber. Think about it, your e-cig would have to be soooo hot you yourself would not be able to hold it. If its that hot, the thing should be close to explosion! lol! I say your safe.
Now the leaking juice, I know its part of the problem with those types of pv's so its likely that it could at some point happen. Get a disposable cart e-cig and you'll just about do away with leaking carts! :p:)
My best,
-VP

Thanks for the info, VP. I've already maxed out my vaping budget with a pen style and a 901, so a disposable cart model is not in the offing right now. When not vaping should the ecig be put down with the battery lower than the tip, or with the tip lower to keep juice from leaking into the battery? Sorry to be so obtuse but without having the thing here to look at I'm kind of flying blind.

Kim--level is best for resting the vaporizer, but not practical--so battery up is the way to go. I have taken apart many of these batteries and you would not believe the stains of e-liquid that run down in them and lead to their demise---Sun
