And they are cheap. $8/ battery with a cart. It's either a 808 or 901 format. I can't tell and they didn't have an open one for me. The prefilled carts are a little expensive (ink jet printer and cartridge razor marketing mentality) at $15 for 4. But I'm already at the stage where I buy my own carts and e-liquids so all I'm looking at is the batteries.

This means e-cigs are going mainstream.

I live in NC in the Piedmont Triad.

I already am invested heavily in 501 and 808d-1 (and sort of in 401). I would be interested in their $8 battery if it drops right into my current 808d-1 chargers. From perusing this forum, it seems to be a 808D-2 format which is not widely supported. However, 808D-1 carts are reported to fit on and work but with a gap.

One thing I am afraid of is that if e-cigs go mainstream, then the fun flavors will be banned - just like what happened about 10 years ago with analogs. That would suck.

I don't know if they are at your walmart. Wal Mart hasn't updated their website to reflect this product. However, upon visiting the Mistic website - I notice that my Wal Mart had every single one of the products listed on the Mistic website for exactly the same prices. Mistic must have a kit they send with all their products. The prices are the same for Mistic Website and also my Wal Mart. Batteries seem a bargain. Cartomizers and chargers seem overpriced. I'm still wondering if their batteries will work in the 808D-1 chargers I already own.

I started with one of those. They aren't actually that bad, except for the funky threading. Battery life on the SOBs are amazing for being analog sized.

If you know someone who wants to try vaping but doesn't want to shell out the cash, their kit with a battery/carto/charger are only $5 more than a disposable, they are a good option. Granted they aren't like an eGo or other 'higher up' model but they are a great start.

Hey VapApe. Good to see someone else from Ohio here!

I did see a thread where someone went into a Wal-Mart with a PV on a clip and the manager wanted the person to demonstrate it to him/her and some other employees.

I've been in the Wal-Mart in Madison enough (graveyard shift) that I could probably get away with vaping openly there. The good thing about stopping in there a few nights a week after working at my old job was getting to know the folks working there.

Hey fellow buckeye, I am in Miami county.
I did see that post but it could differ from store to store.

I went to the Mistic web site and it lists all the wall marts around me as having them.
I think tomorrow I will find out one way or another, I've been thrown out of better places for a lot worse;) LOL

They are behind that one check-out that has analogs - but they were not with the analogs on the back shelf, but rather right behind that conveyer belt at the checkout - but there is a plexiglass shield preventing people from reaching and grabbing. If you called the store and asked, they probably would not know the answer. You have to go yourself and visually search the area and see. It doesn't look like they sold any yet when I saw them. It's 5 minutes away and I'm resisting the impulse to go back there and get one. I have enough batteries and carts and liquids in front of me plus some on the way via the internet. Is there a word that describes the person that goes overboard with this e-cig stuff?

I have to admit I'm really torn on this. On one hand the proliferation of PV products will help many people not die from smoking and improve thier health. On the other hand the more exposure the product gets the more scutiny and media attention. That leads to misinformation usually (media is awesome) and then regualtion, taxing and all that jazz.

A wile back as I recall Wall Mart said they were going carry E cig, But drop the idea after some anti started screaming and the FDA was still fighting the courts over e liquid shipments.

Now seeing that prices on the Mistic web site matches the Wall Mart prices. Did Wall Mart buy out Mistic?
Or did they set it up as a separate company from the beginning? Would be interesting to find out.
