There was a short clip on Headline News about e cigs the other day, they didn't say they were bad or good really, but had someone demonstrating it on the telly. The one bad thing they did say though was that they cost $200. That would turn a lot of folks away from looking into them.

(I posted this in another thread before I saw I was able to start new ones now. Sorry about that )

Neither here nor there
The price they stated is exaggerated, but I paid 150 for a mall model and bought 100 in carts in addition. Small price to pay for a real chance at quitting smoking. I had also already paid 500 for a hypnotherapist that completely did nothing for me.

Yeah, all of us who have done that feel like idjits when we find ECF and become more educated, but price didn't stop me. That's about a month's worth of smokes.

Hi there PTJD! Yes sweet! A fellow okie :)
I looked on their website for the clip before I posted but I couldn't find it :(
Oklahoma is just the kick of state that kicks @$$:p

I'm happy these babies are coming into the light more and more. The government can thank themselves for over taxing the E-Cig smokers that switched to a Tax Free heather life stile!

They need a nice pat on the back for their efforts of sending smokers over the edge to try new things like myself.

*waves hello to fellow okies*

@DaMulta - yeah, if it hadnt been for all the price hikes and tax increases of late, I doubt ecigs would be as popular as they are. After all, they've been around for 4 or 5 years now and they've only just recently started catching on. They've successfully taxed cigs to the point that people are stepping away from tobacco and now theyre upsert because theyre losing revenue.

On an aside, all sorts of oklahoma-related tobacco news can be found at Articles:Listing OK (they also have other states and worldwide)
