I was looking at the 2 piece e-cig the EK-508C from E-Cikar, how is it different than the KR808D-1 from Kanger? they both got the 280ma battery and I have read that the cartridges are interchangeable. Is one of they better than the other?

I have no idea. You may know more about this manufacturer and model than any other ECF member. For example, an ECF search for either EK-508C or E-Cikar turns up only your post.
A Google search finds the E-Cikar website and what E-Cikar has to say about the EK-508C, but nothing else. Do you know of any supplier who carries it? If so, don't hesitate to PM me and/or post information about it in the New Member's forum (and, later, when you become a "Full Member", post in the KR808D-1 Model Specific Discussion forum).
If not, I think it's a moot point. If you want a cartomizer-based e-cig, get a Kr8.
