OK I've been using the red EFest 18350's and love them. I saw some Gold label EFest and bought them to try. Both are protected batteries and the gold label are 900mah and the red are 800mah. WHY are the gold labels so much taller them the red. I can't use them in my VMax? Both labels are on the Efest site so there not clones, lol. Thanx. DAMN took a pic and fogot to post it, lol

Yeah fox the li-ions that are protected suck big time. I messed up and got some prptected 18650 and they barely push my DID. Those red 18350 efest are really hard to beat.

Btw fox dont know if u use any mechanical mods but len got some 18 amp samsung on the way. Scared ill need like 9 plus wraps to be vapeable

I love mechanical mods but you have to be careful about over-discharging IMR batteries. Most electrical mods have built-in low battery protection that will stop working at 3.1~3.3volts (single cell). This is why my daily mod is a electrical mod.

The Andrew Wong (AW) and Efest seem to work well but I have stuck to panasonic cells. I like knowing the manufacturer of the cell I use. you can find US sellers of the cell here:

Orbtronic - Panasonic CGR18650CH With Top Button, 2250mAh IMR High Drain 18650 Battery Cell-Made in Japan

Callies Kustoms 3100mAh 18650 Panasonic Batteries

Below is some discharge data for the EFEST 18350 IMR battery:

... then by all means. OTOH using an IMR teaches you when the vape becomes anaemic, and it is often announced way before the electronic cut off, of any cell :)

You obviously bought some crap batteries.

And who the hell is "len"?

@ mda71

If you like those Panasonic high drains you better stock up as they are no longer going to made.

Panasonic's rechargeable battery division has been losing money for years which is why they are forced to dump their unsold cells on the loose cell market.
