E-Fox - anyone ever tried it?

Anyone have any info or experience to share about the E-Fox brand?

I'm new to vaping (been a smoker of analog super-skinny menthol 120s for 25 years now.) I recently tried the E-Fox brand e-cig at a local shop and, though I liked it a lot, I didn't buy from them because E-Fox's website sells the product direct at a cheaper price than the local retailer. I ended up buying the SmokeStik Hendu Elite instead because it looks pretty and I'm a girl (silly perhaps - but true.) I'm very happy with my SmokeStik so far but, since I'm trying to completely give up a pack-a-day analog habit, I suspect I'll want to have a couple of e-cig options handy to switch back and forth.

I'm strongly considering purchasing the E-Fox PCC (personal charging case) starter kit as a second unit (efox Electronic Cigarettes 510 #1 Award Winner,$20,$30,$40 kits. 100% money back) The E-Fox personal charging case looks very similar to the Blu brand but, according to the video on E-Fox's website under a tab on the left side called "How It Works", it appears to have a better design. At well under $100 for a complete startup kit, E-Fox seems very economical. Plus their cartomizers are made to be easily refilled with e-juice using the drip method. The option of refilling a cartomizer with different "flavored" juices appeals to me for the reasons of variety and economy. My SmokeStik cartomizers can only be refilled by a painstakingly tedious process that I'm not likely to bother with.

If anyone has any info or experience to share with me about the E-Fox brand (pro or con), I'd very much appreciate it. Thanks very much.

I would shop around a little. For example you can get a similar kit from Cignot; Cignot includes an additional atomizer, making two full e-cigs (PV's). They have more choices of juice flavor and you can choose the battery led color for each battery. It's a pretty good deal if your only interested in the 510 (65.00). Joye 510 with PCC

If you want longer battery life then try the eGo; Liberty Flights is offering a good deal on two full PV's (39.99) but it doesn't come with juice. Electronic Cigarette - Starter Kits - Joye eGo

I definitely think you should shop around and read DonDaBoomVape's 'The Wonderful World of Vaping'; an illustrated guide to e-Cigs

Hope that helps!:)

Looks to be a standard 510, which users have complained about short battery life. YMMV
I have a eGo which is thicker, but lasts all day on a single charge. (former 1 1/2 pad)
I have seen threads about decorating with fingernail stickers and clear nail polish?
Being a guy plain black works for me, function over form.;-)

Too small a battery was frustrating for me, like trying to start your car with a couple
of AAA batteries, just doesn't work well. :D

Looks to be like yet another cheap-quality proprietary e-cig spam to me.

Not really... this is just a branded 510 with what looks like a decent PCC. Yes you can get an unbranded 510 cheaper but their price is not outrageous. The only thing this kit is missing is a second atty but that is easily picked up from anywhere.

The keyword was "spam." There are lots of new users here that sign up, post one or two messages (about "their" products; that is, they're spamming their own company products), and move on. It's getting easier to identify those users, now that I've been here for about two months. This user might not be one of those type of users, but it's possible.

But, hey, if someone wants to pay higher prices for batteries that need to be recharged very often and lose their charge as time goes by (and then upgrade two weeks later), I'm not gonna try to dissuade them. It seems to be part of the learning process with vaping for many people.

Trying to choose the best pv can be very confusing indeed! When I first started researching e-cigs I was overwhelmed by the different brands out there....each claiming to be the best. I took the plunge and began with one that I actually liked. The problem was they were proprietary which meant getting replacement parts was limited to having to order from them. After finding this forum I decided to go with the advice given most often here. That is to go with the Joye 510 and/or Ego. I have not regretted that decision. The parts are interchangeable which is great!

Thanks to everyone for all your kind info and good advice. I've been poring through DonDaBoomVape's Wonderful World of Vaping . . . Wow, what an amazing resource!

I've given up on the E-Fox product I asked about in the first post because, except for the guy who sells them at my local smoke shop, I can't find a single person in the world who's ever tried it. Btw, I am not a spammer; I’m just a newbie who wanted to know about that other unit because I happened to see it at a store and I liked the idea of having tech-support, refills and replacement parts available to me locally.

Anyway, as I said before, I ordered the SmokeStik (SS) Hendu because it’s pretty. I've been vaping on my new SS now for about a week and I've almost used up all the extra cartomizers I bought with it. I will order more cartos from SS tomorrow but I’d like to find a lower-priced, higher-nicotine alternative; SS cartos are about $3.25 each and, in menthol (a MUST for me), they only come in 12mg, which seems a little low.

I’m looking for some cheaper replacement parts to rotate into my existing SS setup. Does anyone know of other (cheaper, higher-nicotine) cartos that will fit on my SS battery? Likewise, any suggestions for less expensive batteries that will fit on my SS charger? Replacement batteries from SS are about $24 each, which seems quite high, even considering their pretty jeweled tip.

I’m utterly confused about which parts have what numbers; for example, I’ve gathered that my SmokeStik uses “#4081” cartomizers. Does that mean that any carto that calls itself a “4081” will thread onto my SS battery without the need for an adapter? I’m guessing the answer is that some will fit and some won’t – but which ones? And what about my SS battery? I’d like to buy a couple extras to keep as spares if there’s a cheaper equivalent that will fit into my SS charger. But I don’t know where to look or what to ask for… Is my battery a 510? Is my carto a 4081? Are different brands with the same number interchangeable? As Alice in Wonderland says, “Which is what and what is which?”

Like you, I started with an e-cig that I liked the looks of and had the same questions about replacement parts. I was not able to even find out what type of atty or batteries it used so I had no idea where to look for replacements other than the site where I bought it. After following the threads here, I decided to try out the joye 510 and joye eGo since they seemed most prevalent and had interchangeable parts. Their starter kits are actually less expensive than it would have been to continue ordering parts from my original company. I have definitely not regretted my decision. I now have several options of venders to choose from.

I'm not sure what model the SS is. If you don't get an answer here you may want to try posting a separate thread to ask just this question. Use your question as the thread title. Also try a search for 'SmokeStik in the threads. You might find what your looking for that way... Sorry I can't help out more on this question.

I would suggest going to Google and search for: 4081 cartomizers

Also, search for: Smokestik 4081

This will help you find a lot of information about your PV and should help to answer all your questions.

There's also a Smokestik forum here at ECF. You can find it near the bottom of the main page under Forum Suppliers. Here is the link to that forum:

Yes I have an efox and I have had no problems with it except their product line is kind of small but it seems to growing. I've being branching to other vendors for juice and cartos. To me the product quality seems good but could be wrong, only been vaping a little over 2 month. I must say I love the charger most the others I've seen don't seem to be as nice or they are not smart chargers.

Also efox does have good customer service and quick turn around. No I don't work for them I've just been happy with their product. Give them a chance at least but do shop around and get whats right for you, believe me I have been spreading it around (this e-cig stuff can be addictive always looking for the next best thing).
