E go batterie getting warm?

I have a riva 650 ego type batterie thats getting strangly warm. I am using a 2.0 ohm cartomizer on it, any idea why the batterie is doing this?

Ok now this is strange. The heat seems to be coming from the bottom of the battery.

Yes, the battery should NEVER get hot (I had a couple that did,I threw them in a lake).. lol

This is the 3rd battery from Smokersvapor.com via a flee market vender that has gone kooky on Me. I use 2.5 and 2.0 ohm cartomizers, could that be a problem?

KeysBum, I now have the battery in a steel bowl outside on a concrete slab. I`m going to take the battery back to the flea market vender tomorrow morning.

That should work. The slab is way away from your house or a combustion source? Let the vendor deal with the headache, I like it.

Yep, The slab is really the wash rack for Horses and is far away from everything.

I have several eGo batteries, and none of them get even warm, and lets be honest, I really chain vape! Definately take those back and if he states "that's normal" Call bs as they should never get warm.

To be clear however, if they feel warm at the connector end (To the carto or atty) this can be heat from the coil. At the other end however is definatly not good..
