I am not familiar with different types of battery posts on eGo batteries.

Since there are two different threads on an ego (the standard 510 threads and the outer 'ego' threads) you have some attachments for both threads.

Most pieces use the standard 510 threads: cartos, attys, C4 clearomizers/stardust, vivi nova, etc.

Kanger's T2/T3 uses the outer 'ego' threads to make connection to the battery. These clearos cannot be used on some mods w/o a 510/ego adapter to provide the outer threads.

Those are the only attachments I am familiar with that utilize the outer threads exclusively, but I'm sure there are more out there.

The pics I have found for Cyclone Maxx suggest these are C4-style "stardust" type clearomizers, which use the standard 510 connection.

It depends on what you mean by "E-go type battery". Ego batteries all have 2 sets of threads, the inner 510 threading and the outer Ego skirt threading.

However, there are many Ego-style batteries besides Ego batteries. SI carries the X2 which is an Ego-style with 808 threading.

I would take Ego to mean the original 510 inner thread plus an outer thread for a cone or skirted attachment.

I would take Ego-style to mean any fat batt that has an inner thread (of any kind) plus an outer thread for a cone or whatever.
