Hi I am new to vaping 38 days now! My husband and I just bought and received some sample juices from FSUSA. We love most of the flavors but they seem to be bothering my sinuses. The vape seems to be bothering my nose and i will actually sneeze. Could I be allergic to the flavors? My favorite sample I got from them is called "Bouquet". I love the long lasting flavor by my sinuses are killing me. I am ok most of the time but if I inhale the vape through my nose it seems to irritate me. Has anybody experienced this? Is there anything I can do? Have not tried a lot of different juices yet, but I did not have this reaction from the others I tried. I previously bought some imported and USA ones from ecigsupply.com and seemed to have no problem with those.

I once had an allergic reaction to a liquid from a prefilled cart back when I first started vaping. Within just a few minutes, I started sneezing and sniffling and had watery eyes. I was pretty much miserable for an hour or two. It was definitely a reaction to a specific ingredient in that particular liquid; I've been vaping for 2 years now (using both PG and VG) with no other problems. I just never used any more of those carts.

Could be your pg/vg ratio. I know some people don't tolerate pg very well.

It is 100% VG, previous juices wer 100%PG and 100%VG. I know the VG had grain alcohol in it and FSUSA does not add any alcohol

Different flavors will make me sneeze a bit....my favorite (blueberry) makes me sneeze off and on ! Not consistantly tho....

Make sure you are drinking plenty of water !

Thanks, am drinking plenty of water. Maybe it is just a bad air time too, it is a bit humid here in AZ and it is usually not.

You're not alone. I have noticed that any flavor with cinnamon in it bothers me a little. In my case I don't believe it's a true allergy, just an irritation. I still enjoy those flavors but sometimes I just have to put them down. It may be an ingredient in the Bouquet flavoring.

I also agree with the above statement about PG. Although I've read that true PG allergies are rare, it can be more irritating to the tissues. Some people prefer it because it provides more of a throat hit, which for some people is intolerable. Hopefully you can find something you like as much as Bouquet that doesn't bother you.

Good Luck!

Could be a coincidence with the time of year. I have allergies and this year is worse than last year for me. Unless I am on prescription medication, I always feel like I have a sinus infection.

Hopefully it is just that time of year. I never used to have allergies but they seem to be getting worse every year,

I really hope it is not an allergic reaction. I rally like the flavor and would like to able to order more. Luckily though it is just a small sample size and didn't waste money on it, if it is an allergy.

38 days in, first off gratz and secondly it could just be your body adjusting to inhaling a dessicant. You're doin the right thing tho vg is much milder in my experience.

First 2 months for me were terrible on my sinuses (in southern alberta here we have similar humidity...damn near none usualy), I just hogged on the water and I found tea or coffee, something hot anyways helped (straight 2 oz blast of vodka works best but the boss kinda frowns on it at 8 am).

Gratz making it this far and I hope you adjust quickly.

I am trying lots of water and am also a coffee addict. I am enjoying the vaping. I was a 1 to 1 1/2 pack a day smoker. I tried all kinds of ways to quit but was not successful for more than a couple days. My husband too, we don't want to go back to smoking. I am fine with just vaping from now on, even if I never give up the nicotine content.

I can feel a number of juices in my sinuses and it does make me sneeze sometimes, but I don't have the constant congestion that I had with cigarettes. I actually started vaping during a sinus infection and got over it so much faster than I would have with cigs. I just try not to exhale through my nose, though sometimes I find the tingle enjoyable. Like I said, other than feeling it on the exhale, it hasn't caused congestion or a runny nose or anything like that.

How much nicotine and what PG/VG ratio? Actually I think Bouquet is fixed 50/50. BTW I didn;t care for Bouquet but loved Voodoo.

Nicotine is a skin irritant. If you have high nicotine it could be bothering you a bit even in 50/50. Or it could be something in the flavors in that juice. less likely you are sensitive to PG or VG.

You are right it is 50/50 and 24mg of Nic. Trying to pinpoint what flavors I taste in the Boquet and can't seem to do it. I am not one to normally be allergic to something. I have just a couple medicine allergies and am allergic to the metal, Nickel. I have vaped plenty of 24mg and 36mg with no problems so far. I will have to see what it is like in a couple days.

Last year I would vape 26mg vg all day no problem...well my Atty broken and being unprepared I went back to analogs for a year....now I have a stock of Attys but when I went back to 26 mg vg a year later I would get head echs sore throats nausea....now I vape 6 mg...well the moral of the story is sometimes your body changes and you need to adjust.
