is there a feature in an ejuice calculator (perhaps ejuice me up) to *adjust* a recipe?

im proficient at creating a recipe, but when it comes to tweaking it, it would be nice to be able to calculate it.

for example, say i made 80/20 PG/VG and now i want it to be 65/35. or say i used 10% flavor and now i want 17%. or say ive got 24mg nic and i want it to be 16mg. or *gasp* what if all three happened?

the genious minds that came up with the calculator must have a feature to adjust. i hear talk of adjusting all the time. is this done on pen and paper like a gotdang caveman lol? surely theres a way to adjust, using exact measurements.

thoughts?

eJuice Me Up - Best eJuice Calculator Does exactly what you want. Change the ratio/nic/% and click "Calculate" in lower right corner. But, if you are trying to change an existing mix it takes a little more effort. ejuicemeup has a "nic combiner" on the tools menu that with some thought you might be able to reach your goal.

understood.
but what do you do with the current mix?
i understand how to make a completely new mix, but how about tweaking an already-mixed bottle?

say ive got a 75/25 PG/VG mix with 10% flavoring. if i up it to 20% flavoring by adding flavoring alone, the PG/VG ratio will be off. so i need to add more VG and nic to balance it out. im wondering exactly how much VG/PG/nic i have to add to have the ratios stay at my target ratio.

try it this out:
input a recipe in the calculator with 10% flavoring. record the ml of each ingredient.
then do a recipe with 20% flavoring. you'll notice that the PG ml goes down as the flavoring ml goes up. im wondring how to balance this.

im also wondering how to balance more complicated adjustments like total PG/VG ratio, nic%. or perhaps both of those AND the flavoring adjustment. there must be a way to put in your current mix, and also put in your target mix, resulting in the "bridge" mix to add to the current mix to reach the target mix.

do you/anybody know what im talking about?

First, most flavors are counted as PG so you are replacing unflavored pg with flavored pg, total pg stays the same!

As for the rest, don't think you can get there from here. How much of your "mix" have you already vaped? What is the ratio of your nic? Adding more nic changes your ratio as well as your strength. I think you're trying to do to many things at once. Just make smaller test batches until you find what your after.

I'm not aware of a calculator that can do this, but it would be a cool feature. With the ejuicemeup calculator, I would create both "Original Mix" and "Target Mix", save them in my documents (I have a folder with ejuice recipes), then print them out and compare them to get the "bridge" mix. Yeah, I guess even in 2013 we still have to put stuff to pen and paper on occasion

honetly, i dont have a mix that i need to tweak yet. im just preemtively determining what i would need to do, once this need inevitabely arises. i bought a bunch of flavors and i mixed them all at the lowest % recommended. im betting at least a handful of them will require more flavor or perhaps a tweakage to the PG/VG ratio or maybe even more/less nic for the TH that im looking for.
