E Juice color

Been using from local vape shop awesome flavor turns caramel color over week no wick life rewick everyday 85vg . Went on vacation stopped at vape shop there got some juice 80vg, week and half later still crystal clear only thing I've noticed slightly less flavor and sweetness but finally got over 5 days on a wicking.
Now my question is it the sweetener used or low quality fluid that's causing my short wick life or possible another reason I'm not seeing??

In my experience its the sweetner. I love Vapewild eliquids, but their sweetner gunks up my coils and gives that caramel color (max VG). Their 100% VG un-flavored or sweetened doesn't do that. So by deduction, it has to be the sweetner or flavoring at least with Vapewild. Less the sweetness, the better the longevity of my setups and coils. This isn't scientific by any means, just my observation with my limited experience.

Thanks for the reply Ray, got 120mL of the gunky stuff to use up so time to start diluting, then on to DIY!
