E-juice in the eye burns like all hell. They should can this stuff for self-defense!

I was probably up too late one evening, rubbing my tired eyes after a sloppy refill..Just a bit goes a long way in the eye! The tears were POURING out of my right eye...LOL

Do not care to repeat this experience :)

Yes I am better thank you. I got very lucky and just lost a contact. My eye is not even red anymore. I feel like such a ..... about how it happened too.:( Figured my brain got a little revenge for going cold turkey on analogs and failed to see the generosity off the Pilot as a sub.....

So here I was five min before, laying down and reading the forums. My contacts dried out and I put some re wetting drops in them. I put the contact drops on a different shelf and TOLD MYSELF that wow that would suck to mix them up with my e-juice (hence I was conscious about my moronism:(). Few minuets later my eyes fog over and I reach for my drops, not on the shelf where I put them but my 24mg Riske. My fingers new the bottle was wrong but my brain refused to relay that info till a good drop was in my eye. I think my contact saved my eyeball and the fact that I did not blink. I ran in the bathroom and flushed like crazy, pulled out my contact and flushed for another 20-30 min. My eye was beat red but the stinging was gone. Got to tell ya it wasn't fun. Even the crazy buzz sucked ( don't recommend). When I woke up my eye was normal and was able to put in another contact. I am usually very .... about safety with meds and chemicals, Luckily only my pride was hurt.

I am glad you are okay! Fortunately the eye is very quik to heal itself! Wow, let that be a lesson to us all!

Oh hey KoS, you have moved your eye drops away from your juice now right? (ha,ha) No, really I am just glad you are okay. Take care...

That was the crazy thing. The eye drops were in a seperate location.

Thank you all for your consern and advice. This forum has become like a family to me.

You know I've wondered what would happen if someone mistook nic liquid for eye drops. I'm glad my worst case scenario thoughts proved wrong. It does remind me, though, of smoking the real deal in a car with the window down. I've had burning ash fly up and land in my eye before. Burned like hell for a long time.

No problem. I make a great guinipig. :D

so, tonight i went out drinking and got rather smashed. during the cab ride home i reached in my pocket for my eye drops(recently had lasic surgery and eyes are prone to dryness). unknowingly, my drunk self grabbed my bottle of geoff's blend 24 mg that was in the same pocket as my drops... i somehow managed to get three drops in my eye before the stinging started. OMG, i thought my eye ball was going to fall out. it still hurts after about 30 mins of flushing my eye and drops. this whole experience sucks, i do not recommend it. i'll update tomarrow if i have to get my eye removed or not.
