Hi ya

I'm new to vaping and getting confused about which strength of juice to buy. I dont understand when I read juice reviews how the taste vary between different strengths of the same flavour! I assumed the flavour would be the same in all:confused:
Can someone put me straight please.... is it the higher the nic the weaker the flavour ??

Also... I've tried a few diff strenths of nic and I dont seem to notice a difference  how can that be

Sometimes there may be very little difference, especially if there is just a one level difference....but nic has its own taste and it can vary the flavor of the juice.

I would not say that a flavor is "weaker" because it has more or less nic.

More nic does usually equal more throat hit though.

But yes I have noticed minor differences as I have changed my nic level. The biggest difference tho is not flavor, it's throat hit.

Does the nic level impact the flavor of non-tobacco type flavors as much? I guess I'm wondering if you would notice this as much in a sweet or minty flavor as opposed to a more cig-flavored flavor.

I feel nic level has little to do with the flavor, because the amount of flavor should be the same through and level of nicotine. However the Throat hit will vary, and because of the difference in throat hit, it may feel like the flavor is weaker/stronger. Just my $.02. I vape mostly above 4.5 volt with everything, so my juices are usually on the lower nicotine levels.

So would you say that someone interested in more impact from lower levels of nic should look into a variable volt system even as a n00b?

I bought my same juice in zero nicotine because I wanted to cut my juice and lower the nic level (for night vaping). I tried the zero nicotine for the heck of it and it actually had more flavor. Makes sense I guess because it's just base and flavoring. The flavoring doesn't get masked by the nicotine flavoring. So I actually got more of the 'peach' flavor. I don't know if this would hold true with tobacco or other flavors though. No throat hit at all though.

That would be a good idea. It doesn't need to be variable voltage. It can be just a higher voltage device, but having the ability to vari the volts is so nice and handle. Helps make any juice taste good in my opinion, because you can dial the device to that particular juice with that particular atty/carto. Plus I feel vaping high nic juices at 3.7 volts dries my throat out something fierce, it doesn't feel that way with higher voltages.
