E Juice Question

Good morning (for me at least) fellow Vapers!

I made a rookie mistake and ordered 3 30ml bottles of juice from Tasty Vapor at 70/30. The reason it was a mistake was that I had been happily puffing away on their 60/40 blends, and wanted to try to see if I could get a better throat hit. Dumb. The 70/30 kills my throat and sinuses. Anyway, I am wondering if I can go out and buy a 50/50 blend, and then mix it in to 'make' a 60/40 blend. I won't be able to get the same flavors (I am in Canada and it doesn't make sense to pay for shipping, only reason I got the first batch was that someone came up to visit and brought it with them). You can buy VG at Walmart. I'm not sure of the mixing proportions though.

can you order it in just VG? I have to do that with some of the Premium ones I've still got hanging out..Five Pawns Black Flag Fallen I love the strong coffee flavor..but the pg makes me "froggy" so I add half VG Sweet Cream ..dilutes it a bit but same flavor w/o the froggy throat.

not sure..give it a shot and see how it goes..or find a vg flavor it jives with and mix?

Do they have Wal-Marts in Canada? I couldn't find VG at my Wal-Marts out here, was really disappointed.

Anyway, you bought 70 VG / 30 PG and it was More throat Hitty than the 60 VG / 40 PG was?? To me, that seems backwards. I find the Higher PG the More throat hit. Strange that the Higher VG delivers more throat hit for you. Are you sure the Nic concentration is the same as your previous batch?

OP yes you can do that, just make sure the flavors will go together.

it is pg/vg not the other way around, it has always been alphabetical

Thanks everyone! I had looked into getting straight VG, but then I have to find flavoring so it doesn't get tasteless. Just more work than I want to put it, rather just try mixing them with some other flavors. I got one today and will see how it goes (Carmel popcorn mixed with Vanilla).

well, the pure VG... since you only need to increase the VG by 10 percent.,... if you added 1 ml per 15 ml... it should increase the VG by...7 percent which should still be better. Now, I added 2 mls of VG to some 0mg juice the other day because I usually use 6mg nic, and won 0mg premium juice in a giveaway.


I dont really notice too much of a flavor diminishing. add a ml, see how it vapes... if not so great, add another ml....unless you can really notice the flavor diminish. I doubt you will though. might become a bit more mellow. if so... allow to steep.

I've done this plenty of times, adding VG to a juice with harsh throat hit. The flavor doesn't diminish too much and the the smooth throat hit you achieve will make your juice much more enjoyable.

Thanks everyone!!! I mixed 10ml of vanilla at 50/50 with 8ml of carmel popcorn at 70/30 and it seems to be working ok. It is also delicious. I will try adding a little of pure VG tomorrow.

I bought change at Walmart near the band aids and rubbing alcohol. It's only about 4 bucks. And I add it to slot of my juices to make them last a little longer and smooth them out as I don't like the throat hit. I would only add about 5 ML to your 30 ml bottles and shoe it really well. Shouldn't lose much flavor at all and will smooth it out. Add more or less as needed
