Im no pro, but if its burnt tasting cut back on the power. I run all types of blends in my protank and usually dont have any only troubles. The only time i ever get gurgling and liquid in my mouth is when my tank gets low and I leave it laying on its side. The thinner juice might require a new flavor wick to be installed if it leaks even when full. The burnt taste only happens when i try to crank up the power too high or if I run out of juice. Maybe someone with more experience will chime in and help guide us.

2.2 ohm should be between 3.5 and 3.8 v

I have a tank that does this if it gets below half full (annoying only tank that does that and only once below the half way mark)
same tank as above mentioned once past half point sometimes I have to tip it upside down and vape excess from wick so it won't flood

is the tank cold? let the juice and tank warm, hold it in hand or in pocket before vaping.
over night, or when not in use for extended use store tank upside down to keep the wick from flooding.

Clean and dry burn the coil. Takes 5 minutes and can fix a lot of problems.

Yes, have you tried cleaning or changing the head? How old is the head? Is this a protank 1 or 2?

A couple of things to check... Take the base off and unscrew the head. Check for liquid accumulated where the head screws into the base. If there is liquid there, dry it off and make sure the head is screwed in fully when you put it back in. If it's a protank 2 take it all apart and make sure the gaskets are where they are supposed to be and not twisted or messed up (the ones that seal at the ends of the glass tank part). Make sure silicone cap that goes on the chimney thing (don't know what that's called) looks good and is pressed down. Make sure everything is screwed together firmly. Check the wicks, make sure they are filling the wick slot with no gaps around them. If you think it might be gaps in the wick slot, you can use a bit of cotton ball to beef up the flavor wicks so they don't let as much juice in. Also, check your battery connection for juice. If there is any there, dry it off well with a q-tip or twisted bit of tissue.
