I am a newbie to vaping (a couple weeks)...All the juices I initially bought came in 50/50. I understand that this is a matter of preference although I have noticed that some e-juice vendor's recommended blend is 50/50 and others are a 70/30. (I understand that vg is more natural and produces more vapor). I guess what I am interested in hearing what other ppls preferred ratio and why...

Thanks

everyone is different and i use many blends from 100pg to 100vg.

pg is best for not muting throat hit or altering flavor, its also typically thinner then vg, so it is preferred to have more pg then vg in certain applications like some carto tanks.

vg is known for producing more vapor, while muting throat hit a bit. its typically sweeter then pg and for some it changes the flavor of juice. most will use more vg in setup for dripping, or rba's (rebuildable atties).

for me i tend to use a 80pg/20vg blend for most carto tanks and 50/50 for dripping. but what ever works best with your gear and satisfies you is the best option.

Hi , and Welcome to ECF . As I primarily use DIY juices (I make them ) I use a 70 /30 , but 70 % is the VG , the 30% is the PG . I only really use the PG , to help my juice , wick better in some of my devices . I like lots of vapor , so tend to use a stronger VG content . And I can also add as much flavorings , until it tastes like I want . But all that being said , it's really your choice > PG juices tend to have better flavor , but less vapor . And with VG , it's the other way around . Just use what you like . There is no % written in stone . Good Luck
