E-Juice Recipes

What's up guys?

So I Recently got into DIY E-juice and I see alot of resources with a crazy amount of e-juice recipes. I made Two Flavors I found that were both 5 Star Rating. Banana Pudding and Strawberry Cheesecake.
e-Liquid Calculator :: DIY Banana Pudding
e-Liquid Calculator :: DIY Strawberry Cheesecake

They both ended up being super sweet , The strawberry cheesecake tasted like pure sweet strawberry, and the banana pudding is just complete sweet banana flavor. Now I love strong flavors but these were just overpowering fruit flavors no where near dessert flavors.

So what I'm looking for is some of the top known e-juice recipes that people love. I know taste is subjective so no need to lecture me on that , but I do know there has to be popular recipes that many people use that I just can't find. I like literally any type of flavors(Menthol,Fruity,Dessert) I'm just looking for the good recipes rather then try a bunch of different recipes and wasting alot of time cutting out the crappy ones.

Thank You,
Nick T

Yes I know of that sub-forum , But like I said theres 1000s of flavors on there , i'm asking for people to point out either some of there personal favorites or some of the known favorite recipes.

Well...if you look at that sub forum you will find "some of there (sp) personal favorites or some of the known favorite recipes."

I don't understand...Are you looking for somebody to spoon feed you something we think you might like?

Keep in mind that when someone quits smoking their taste buds have been trashed from years of tobacco smoke. If someone DIY's a recipe shortly after they quit there is a high likelihood the flavoring will be very strong.

Another thing to keep in mind is flavorings reach their peak at different lengths of time after mixing. This is why you see a lot of talk about steeping. Typically fruits take little to no steeping time and creamy flavors take longer to reach their peak. If you are tasting these two recipes shortly after mixing you may be judging too quick. It's a good idea to not only taste a new to you recipe right after mixing but set it aside and give it a taste every so often. The creamy flavors may take a couple days to a couple weeks to fully mature.

The majority of recipes out there work for the person that makes it but it's all up to you. To me... I don't know how people can vape with flavors at 20-30%...

If it was too strong, why don't you simply modify the amounts of flavoring? Banana is very overpowering, and so is cheesecake. Cheesecake you can use like 5% and it will still be strong. My suggestion, go ahead and try out recipes, but adjust them to your liking.

You said it yourself in your opening. You picked recipes that were rated 5 stars, and you didn't care for them. People can suggest all day long, but someone's favorite doesn't mean it's going to be your favorite. Just go through recipes that are posted. Find ones that sound like they would be good to you. Try them, and when they aren't exactly what you are looking for, try adjusting to what you feel would work better. I'm on the same road as you and trust me, I hear what you are saying. I've wasted alot of flavors and nic making other people's ADV. It doesn't work. Mix single flavors to get a taste for them, then after you know what a flavor tastes like, mix it with another flavor you've tried that you think will compliment it. It's not going to happen over night. You'll make some recipes that are good enough for you to vape and be semi satisfied while you are familiarizing yourself with the flavors you have. You'll make some mixes that you think will be good and end up pouring them down the sink, but eventually you'll hit the jackpot and it will be worth it

IMO, there is no surer path to DIY happiness. I've been mixing for a few months, and have not even considered trying someone else's recipe. But I have not made many that I do not enjoy vaping either.

Maybe in another year or so I will create one I feel is worth sharing, but I won't be surprised at all if everyone else hates it.

What Stacy1 said! Practice, experiment, research, taste. Rinse and repeat.

Everyone's olfactory senses (tongue, taste buds, nose, palate) are different.

Take YOUR time.

If you are not a patient person. DIY will force you to be!
