if someone wants slim batts at 60 bucks then more power to them...

The batteries are 15 bucks a piece on the site alone. I got 2 batteries, a charger...5 pre filled carts and 2 emptys. This is pretty much the same as the pricing on smokelessimage for the 808 kit there. Do you hold some sort of grudge against Halo or something? So far you are literally the ONLY person i have seen that has a bad thing to say about their pricing.

Better options for YOU perhaps, however the pricepoint and user friendlyness of this site and their products fit exactly what i was looking for. My batteries last all day long, and the vapor is thick. I have been smoking for 15 years and now i am not. I did extensive research on what interested me. The 808 is the size i was interested in....and like i have said numerous times in this thread. The G6 is highly praised around these forums, I will continue to recommend it to others.

then people were not paying attention:)

I am not exactly sure what this means....

280 and for me, it delivers lots of vapor and lasts at least 5 hours of pretty heavy vaping. Looking at the review page there are numerous people reviewing the G6 and not one of them complained of the pricing...

280 nice...is that under load...or more like 230...hard to believe 600mah batt units go for 50% less....:)

As stated above, I am a complete newbie. I got the indication the OP was too. I was simply suggesting a starter kit that was easy to use. After countless hours of research on this kit I fail to see how it is a crappy deal. It is a well respected 808 kit on these forums.

Perhaps I should have just left well enough alone and not commented

How many different models have you tried for comparison purposes? The 808 is definitely not the worst PV on the market and many find it a good starter PV. I just didn't see how it fit with the OP's request for the "best" PV on the market or that it is "amazing". It's good for a small battery PV. Just not in the "best" or "amazing" category.

I am still somewhat new so I dont know exactly what you mean when you say "under load"...i guess that means while it is being used? The batteries alone are 14.99 the whole kit is a bit more expensive. The 808 is the size i prefer

A 280 mAh battery is incapable of delievering 5 hours of heavy vaping. The physics of battery power against power demand can't be changed. A 100 mAh battery will deliver about an hour of lite vaping time. A 280 mAh battery might provide 5 hours if you only use it once an hour for 5-6 inhales.

None as of yet, this is my first PV. And I was simply making a suggestion

are you trying to turn me into a beginner cig starter kit user...from a Mod user?

I am not trying to turn you into anything...

I do however refuse to believe that what I purchased was a "crappy deal"

An E-Power which is a good beginner model comes with 1050 mAh batteries and provides 5 hours of average vaping time. And these batteries cost $4-$5.

Well i must have some miracle battery then. I had both of mine at work fully charged....used one from 11pm till around 4am before i had to recharge it and move on to the second. I was vaping from it once every 10-15 minutes...maybe more...maybe less. Couldnt really keep track. The site at halo cigs suggests that the 78mm 280mah battery will last for around 300 vapes.
