I got a 10ml sample of "USA Red Mix, 24mg" with my starter kit and i really liked it, so I ordered a 50ml of the exact same stuff.

It came in the mail today, I filled up a fresh carto, and the taste is horrible. It tastes burnt and nasty.. Im very disappointed because this was going to be my main vape until I find more flavors I like.

I also ordered a 5ml sample of "Dekang tobacco, 18mg" This stuff is clear and taste amazingly just like my 10ml sample I had at first..only clear liquid.

Did i get a crappy bottle of juice?

Try letting it steep for a little while. Especially with a bigger bottle like that, it's gonna need time to blend together and mellow out. Try it again in a week or two. Maybe even three.

Some liquids need to steep. Set it aside for a few weeks and it may be fine, or it may be a bad batch.

I've had some samples that tasted great, ordered the larger size and it tasted nothing like the original. Sometimes it just depends on the vendor.

Sorry this happened to you, it's a bummer. :(

Mustang, I suspect the 50 ml bottle you got was not real Dekang, but the smaller bottle was. I have bought fakes that tasted completely different, irresponsible ripoffs. I have USA Mix Red in front of me and vape it. Genuine Dekang USA Mix Red is supposed to emulate Marl Red. It is clear and do not need steeping, but you do need to shake the bottle well. I have not had a "bad batch" problem with genuine Dekang and do no accept that excuse from a vendor.

Edit: in fact, all Dekang tobacco flavors I've tried is clear and show up ready to go.

Edit2: http://www.cignot.com is one place where you can get real Boge/Dekang liquid, but only up to 20 ml bottles. There should be quite a few places including some vendors from China, which won't fill your immediate needs.

It seems to me that since it's a 50 ml bottle it's gonna need to steep at least a week. Small bottles that are 10 ml or less may not even need to steep, smaller amount of juice, less time it needs to steep after being made. Small amounts may have steeped already in warehouse or on the way to you. But a 50 ml bottle.....I would try the flavor again in 2 weeks or something...maybe even longer!

I got a 1 liter (1,000 ml) bottle from Dekang, needed serious, tennis elbow type shaking, but no steeping needed. It depends on the brand. I've heard BWB juice does need steeping. :)

^Oh yes and shake it too!

Maybe some juices don't need steeping...I thought many do tho, especially in greater quantities?

Someone said in a thread I read once - taste it, if it doesn't taste right, then steep it, and taste it again...

I have heard of some flavors that are good straight out of the mailbox, but improve with steeping.....but I have been under the impression most need steeping...

Im letting it steep for awhile before I try it again. I gave it another shot today with a brand new carto and it was still gross..Almost a burnt nutty flavor to it.

I'm pretty sure the vendor I got it from wouldn't sell "knock off" Dekang juice, but then again the juice is not clear and taste nothing like the 10ml sample of the same stuff. I did however, get a 5ml sample of "Dekang Tobacco" which is clear and taste amazing..too bad I already ran out of it.

Once again, all genuine Dekang tobacco flavors I got from Dekang are clear, not cloudy, including Red USA Mix. Dekang juice will darken over time. I won't comment on your vendor, don't know and care who it is, but when I ordered USA Mix from 4 different vendors, 3 were fakes, complete different juices. My money and I were both burned and I no longer buy juice from those vendors. If it's not the real thing, what is it and what's in it? I trust my own senses and even borrow someone's to confirm. Hope you get this resolved. :)

Edit: unless it's a dirty atty issue, but I think you said you tried new one.
