I am having the same problem. Make sure you are drinking a LOT of water. I think most people go through a phase where they can't taste much. Remember, it took you a long time to ruin your tastebuds, it will take awhile for them to recover. I have been vaping juices that I really don't like to get rid of them while I can't taste much. I upped my water intake, and it is slowly getting better. Keep your chin up, your taste buds will eventually return.

Same here. I try a new e-liquid each morning, concentrating on tasting the subtle flavors. (I mean really concentrating - I must look like an idiot.) Sometimes I can get a hint of flavor, but then the next day I can't taste it at all. Luckily, I found a vape I could taste and liked early on - I hope it lasts. I was a menthol smoker and I really like "RH Candy Cane" from Vixen Vapors. It's a sweet-ish cinnamon and menthol. (I don't like cinnamon candy, so go figure.) It may have other flavors in there too, but I can't taste them. I get 3x flavor and medium menthol added. I really like it, but it eats Stardust drip tips - stainless steel ones work though

there are a few things that can cause flavor loss:

1) your taste buds may still be healing and can easily go numb to certain flavors
2) when using the same flavor over and over some people will loose the ability to taste that flavor from time to time(all day vapes).

I experience these things if i use the same flavor all day long. so i simply start my day off with one flavor, another while im at work, and yet another 1 or 2 after work flavors. helps keep the taste buds alert

Something to also point out: Some juices will require a "steep" to make the flavors really come out. Steeping just just letting the juice chill in a cool, dark place (like a cabinet, I use a cigar box)... generally for around a week.

Some say you can speed up this process by letting the juice steep the first night with the cap off.
Other say you can speed it up by standing the bottle up in warm water with the cap off.

If you can't taste a specific juice, set it aside for a week or some, then come back to it.

I found that I have trouble tasting my juice if I keep the same juice for more than a day. Think I just get used to the flavor and I dont really taste it anymore. I try to rotate flavors each day and make it a dramatic change, like Cherry-Limeade every other day and Coffee English Toffee on the days in between. That usually keeps my juices tasting great.

If you have a Variable Voltage battery try adjusting the voltage up and down a touch.
I find that with some flavors I need to adjust the voltage, It may be providing vapor, but not as much flavor as you need
You may also want to ask for stronger flavor next time you order, as many folks have said your TB's may still be recovering from smoking.

Happened to me too. I scoured the web for any information I could find. Here's a summary of what I found, excerpted from a write-up I did on ecigs:

Vaper's Tongue- Sounds scary doesn't it? Well, it isn't. What it is is weird. Really weird. It's something that can happen to new vapers after about a week or two. It doesn't happen to everyone, but it did happen to me. Vaper's Tongue is a phenomenon in which you stop tasting your vapor. You don't stop tasting anything else, just your vape. Chocolate, soda, meat, fruit, vegetables, bread, and anything else you can name tastes just fine. See, I told you it was weird.
No one in the vaping community knows why it happens. Theories are abundant and contrary: It's the PG. It's the VG. It's dehydration. It's taste buds waking up after a long tobacco induced coma. Any of which would make sense if it was a complete loss of taste, but it's not. Only vapor. Weird, weird, weird.

By most accounts it happens about 2 weeks after beginning to vape, and generally lasts 1 to 2 weeks. It happened to me 17 days after starting, and lasted 9 days. So, apparently the reports are accurate on that account. Recommendations on what to do about it range from common sense to lunacy. I'll save you the trouble of sorting out the good from the trash, and tell you the recommendations I tired:
Drink extra fluid, and keep it in your mouth longer. Use it to rinse your mouth before swallowing.
Brush your tongue along with your teeth.
Switch e-juice flavors if you have more than one.
Use a dry mouth mouthwash. Biotene is your friend.

I did all of those. Did it work? I don't know. I do know the Vaper's Tongue went away. Maybe it would have went away by itself anyway, who knows? In any case none of those things hurt to try. I still keep some Biotene handy in the event I start noticing any dry mouth. It's also a good pallet cleaner when comparing several flavors at one time, just FYI.
One good thing is that if you have some juice you don't like, it's a good time to use it up.
The bottom line is that Vaper's Tongue is annoying, but temporary. If you're lucky it won't even happen to you.
