Is Darker e juice better then clear juice or is this false ?

Well, it depends on what you mean by better - tastier? Personally, I like the darker e-juices (chocolates, vanillas, coffees, etc.) better than the lighter ones (fruity), but they do gunk up your coils faster.... All a matter of taste.

A lot of times I find that the color of e liquid is dependent on several factors such as types of flavoring used and the time the liquid has steeped (or sat around in plain English). I have found the darker colored liquid to often visibly gunk up coils faster, but am not sure if that has to do with the color itself or the sugar content of darker colored flavors. Ideas?

My ejuice is clear unless i get nicotine in it, the more nicotine the darker but not much darker.

I believe color of juice is based on flavor and nic content, typically the higher the nicotine content the darker they are but also if its a darker flavor like chocolate or mocca they will be naturally darker...hope that helps

I think it's just the flavorants used... if you look at most custards, they're kind of "blonde". Custards that have caramel or other flavors get darker. Strawberry liquids are pretty clear I think. Lime sparkle is clear... I don't know if you can quantify whether or not you'll like a juice based on color. It may just come down to your own personal flavor profile.

Better is really subjective... better what? Flavor? less likely to gunk up?

Flavor is also subjective... I personally hate the coffee & tobacco flavors... my cappuccino flavor has sat for 4+ months and is practically black, my Hennessy flavor is a dark brown color. The coffees and chocolates tend to steep into very dark colors, but that doesn't make them "better".... try various sample flavors & you'll know what you prefer... I hate the creamy or bitter flavors but I like the fruits & drinks especially when there's a "sourness" to it like raspberry lemonade.

As mentioned above, darker juices tend to gunk up the coil more... I think that the 50/50 pg vg mix gunks much more than a 70/40 pg/vg mix as well.

In summary.... no, color doesn't make a juice "better" than the other at all, your priorities determine what's a "better" juice, do you want flavor or vapor production or throat hit?
