Im relatively new to vaping,

I've trued 0mg, 5mg, 10mg, 15mg and 20mg to try and get the right hit for me.
i like between 5 and 15mg

however im finding the higher strengths have worser tastes as in it tingles your tounge makes you feel dehydrated and a bit off.
it makes sense that the higher the concentrate the more you taste it, but im not a fan of that taste, (just like nicotine gum)

Has anyone had any experience with an e liquid that offers between 10 and 15mg with no tingley mouth taste?
or am i asking the impossible?

cheers guys

Hi Rage_Ej and welcome to the fourms. I'll leave it for others to suggest specific vendors and liquids but there are a couple of things you can do to minimize the peppery nicotine taste.

First, drink loads of water. More than you think you need. This is important even if you are vaping 0 nic as the ingredients in the liquid will dehydrate you (as you have mentioned)

Also, depending on the ratio of PG / VG in your juice, this can change the flavor and mouth-feel you get. I find the PG does give more of a throat hit and allows the pepper of the nicotine to come through. Try higher levels of VG in your juice and maybe consider a 100% VG juice.

You could also buy VG (vegetable glycerin) at any Walmart, Walgreens or pharmacy. You could even add that to any juice you have to reduce the nicotine taste if you wanted to. It won't change it much, but it might smooth it out for you.

Finally, I've found fruit and bakery juices tend to hide the nicotine better than tobacco flavored juices. I personally use a lot of different vendors of juice and I recommend ordering some sample packs to see what you might like. You might also want to consider an unflavored juice.

It's an unfortunate reality that you will spend a lot of time trying different juices and vendors (and cash) before you find something you consider a great tasting liquid that you would buy again.

Cheers for the speedy reply Aglet,

ive been reading alot on vg and pg percentages unfortunately my local vendor doesnt do a range of pg/gv variations so internet it is.

its just the taste i like the hit tbh the hit isnt enough, i need more of the nicotine hit as in like an analoge but without that savage nicorrete gum tingly taste, i guess its just tryal and error untill i can get a juice that suites,

I do like the fruity flavours i have summerfruits in 0mg 10 and 20 so i mizx and match and normaly end on a 7 or so 20 is just disgusting and 5 is too week, omg tastes incredible but its just the vapor no nic hummmmm i think this is gunna take a while.

im gunna buy some pure pg and dilute what i use, i hear this also minimises throat hit which i dont like,

i want a nice big nic hit with not horrid taste is this actually possible?

I agree with aglet. I found most bakery flavors hide the nic best. You will need to spend a lot of time trying different makers and flavors.

The peppery taste can change from different tanks.

When I switched to mech mods and drippers, my entire collection of nic juices were useless. The burn from the nic was just too much, even at 6mg.

I ended up switching to 0mg and mixing in nic to 3-4 mg. the quality of nic also makes a huge difference.

If you do not like the throat hit then you want less PG, not more. the walmart "glycerine" suggestion was a good one. From the title of your post I imply that 15mg may be your sweet spot. the nicotine taste becomes discernible somewhere around 18mg. If you have a flavor you like and they don't have 15mg then mix equal parts of 12mg juice with 18mg juice.

I make my liquids with 70% VG to maximize vapor production
