Hello Everyone,

I am thinking about joining self made juice brigade soon. I was doing some reading on it. I found some tools on the Play Store, especially one called LiqCalc, rated at 4.7 and about 100K downloads. Has anyone used it? Or more to the point, is it okay to use these apps to make my own concoction?

I use that app for my juice making. It is a good app, I recommend it. Remember, if you want to save your recipes, sign into the app with your account and it will back up your recipes so you won't loose them.

Just wanted to throw in one more question... 100 ml of nicotine concentrate would last me how many days? I just want to start off with small batches of everything!
That is going to be determined by the strength of the nic concentrate, the nic level you mix your juice at, and the rate you consume the juice you make.

What strength is the 100ml (mg/ml) and what strength (mg/ml) is the juice you are mixing? How much juice do you use per day?

Cheers

100ml of 100mg/ml will make 1665ml of 6mg/ml.

At 17.5ml per day you will have about 95 days worth.
At 15ml per day you get 111 days, at 20ml per day you will get 83 days.

Oh I see now, we can't talk about them here, I did not know that. @Izan you know what I'm talking about?

"ELR"or "VU" are okay. Screen shots of recipes are fine.
Just no links or spelled out references.
I think it was a feud from long ago. A few sites are "Res non grata" here on ECF.

One last question please, does the base matter? I see that they are available in VG and PG base as well as a 50-50 mix? Which one to get?
Pg base nic is easier to use because it is thin, easy to pour or drip from a dropper. Vg base is very thick.

Any liquid calculator that you like is really fine. I use something fairly primitive honestly, but it's an app on my phone just easier to have to hand.

Unless you are PG sensitive, (I am and it sucks) I'd say PG base is easier to handle.

Also if you want to make a lot of small things, IF the flavoring percentage is going to be similar (I usually mix in about the 10% range) you may find that making a nicotine base liquid may do you some good in terms of speed of mixing. I just subtract my 10% flavor and mix the rest of my base calculating the nic and percentages to account for what is USUALLY PG for flavorings and things go way faster.

I wish I'd done it six months ago, it's really made mixing easier. If you don't know your standard ratio for flavors though, you probably don't want to do that yet.

Best of luck and have fun.
