Hello all,

I'm new here and would post this in the e-liquid forum, but I have to post 5 times here first! Ha... so I hope someone here can offer some advice for me.

I've been vaping for a while now... started with the V2 over a year ago and then discovered Apollo and their great products. I've been weaning myself off of the nicotine doses for some time and recently started using nicotine free e-liquids (from Apollo). I got to thinking about how great it would be if there was a healthy e-liquid, you know, full of vitamins and what not. I did a search today and came up with this:

Health e-smoking liquid:newest e-smoking liquid flavor

It's the only 'healthy' e-liquid I could find and I'm very intrigued by it! The prices are outstanding and they even have PG/VG mixes. I'm on the fence about buying from them though since they're located in China. Not sure if I want to put my billing info out there or if their products are even legit.

Has anyone dealt with 'bestecig.com' and tried their e-liquids? Are there alternative 'healthy' e-liquids available from other reputable suppliers?

Any insight on this topic would be appreciated!

Welcome , but part of the idea of vaping less additives , instaed of more . And at best , unless they can prove otherwise , most Chinese manufacturers don't use our standards in the making of their juice . Cleanliness could be a problem . The Chinese will sell anything they can make money on . SO I , personally would take a pass on any juice from China . It might be OK , but I'm not willing to isk it .

Hi raven13 and welcome to ECF,

I haven't had any experience with this vender and think I've only ever purchased one thing from China directly (used PayPal Account). I totally understand why you would be uneasy with giving your account information to a foreign site with all of the credit card fraud reports out there.

My advise would be to use a PayPal account if you can. If not, then go to a Walmart / CVS type store and pick up a prepaid credit card. There might be like a $5.00 activation fee but $5.00 to protect your account isn't bad at all. Even if you just use it that one time. You can put everything in the cart and see what it is going to cost and then load the prepaid card with that exact amount. I'm not saying this site is bad or going to create any issue for you but as a simple option to prevent it this would be my 2 cents.

Another option would be, if you are using a true credit card, is to check and see if they offer a temporary - one time use electronic number generator. I know my primary credit card from my bank offers this. What I do is let them know I want to use it at a website I'm unsure about through their online banking site. They generate a fake card number, expiration date and security code (3 digit thing on the back of the card) and supply that information to me. I then use those numbers to place my order. Once the order is placed those numbers are no longer usable and not attached to my account. It's a nice free service a lot of cards offer now.

As for healthy eJuice... I have seen a couple threads on this but can't seem to find them now. I think they were talking about Nhaler but not 100% sure.

Best of luck,

Kevin

It might be OK , but I'm not willing to isk it .

This is my policy for myself and wife as well. It's just so hard to know what they are really doing and what the final product is. Again, as Renzuli and I said in my original reply... so not saying they are in fact bad but it's just a risk I'm not willing to take. I let others blaze a path for me

Thanks for the responses so far guys. I do have a Paypal account and would definitely use that should I decide to buy something like this. I know many want to vape to quit smoking. I actually really enjoy vaping and will probably continue to do so as long as there are no adverse health risks (especially now since I'm at 0 nicotine liquids). If I'm going to continue to do it, I just thought that it would be great if it were not only safer than real cigs, but why not even be a healthy thing to do? I'm actually surprised that no company (that I've found so far anyway... outside of bestecig.com) has tried to develop an e-liquid with vitamins and what not that can be beneficial to one's body... although nhaler.com seems to come close with their herbal line (thanks Kevin for the insight there).

So, I really appreciate the responses and advice so far! I too am skeptical about buying anything from China. With no regulation in place, who knows what's really in the e-liquid and how good their quality control is? So unless somebody else has had a good experience with them, I'm going to hold off for now and wait and see what other forum members might have to offer in the way of alternative (and trusted) options when it comes to a 'healthy' e-liquid.

Cheers!

I have to strongly disagree. 90% of all eliquid used in the world comes from China.

The majority (# of suppliers) of US made eliquid is made in someone's basement, kitchen or garage with no oversite. Do you know what safety standards (if any) they are using?

Plus, all the examples of people's credit cards being hacked that I have seen on ECF are from US suppliers.

Here is a video of one of the largest Chinese eliquid makers. The person making the video is one of the original members of ECF and well respected, Leaford:

I use to order from bestecig.com all the time for atomizers. Their service was outstanding. They provided 6 month warranties on their attys and never ask me to return any that died prior to 6 months, but just simply replaced them at no cost.

99% of all the hacking of credit cards, based on posts here and on other vaping forums, have been on US vaping sites. And you CANNOT use Paypal on US vaping sites, only sites outside of the US. So you will not have that protection.

In customer service, safety of product and safety options for protecting your financial information, Chinese sites are definitely better options than many US sites.

Very interesting WV. Right after I posted before, I got to thinking that most of the e-liquids sold in the US are probably made in China anyway. I mean, there's not much that isn't made in China anymore (unfortunately). That video was very impressive too. Thanks for sharing!

Your are welcome. Unfortunately their is a certain amount of "bias" against Chinese vaping suppliers that is not supported by the facts in this industry. There are good and bad suppliers in every country. But the experience of many long time vapers, have only been positive, when ordering from Chinese suppliers.

Welcome to ECF raven13! We are glad to have you here.

However, ECF does not allow discussion of anything in e-liquid aside from PG/VG, nicotine, & flavorings. You are welcome to discuss other items from this vendor, just not the e-liquid with any special additives.

We are closing this thread as it does not fit our discussion profile.
