E-liquid Confiscated

I'm being posted to Perak for work and sent across some left over nicotine juice along with flavorings and shampoo from Australia. Marked them off as Shampoo and under 500 RM on declaration. Just recieved a note from customs that they tested my juices and found Poison.
Just wanna know is there any way i can get the confiscated items back? I'm happy to pay above and below if you get what I mean.
And is there any reliable source of nicotine e-liquids in Malaysia either overseas or locally? I've tried Alvin before but the location is pretty far off for me.

How did you receive the note, im just curious. Was it a phone call or a note in your mailbox? And how long has it been since you posted and receive the note? There is no one reliable supplier overseas (there is always a risk), best bet is to get them locally (although, you'll have a limited choice).

came thru mail. includes pharmacist note about poison. Is importation of nicotine liquid illegal in my? any local source of pure nicotine liquid? thanks

You'll need a license to ship/import any nicotine-based liquid and pure nicotine is darn right lethal. flavorless and sips through skin it could kill anything in pure form. you might find 'diluted nicotine' at 38-40mg around if you look hard enough but nobody's gonne sell you 'pure' nic in whatever form.

my cartomizers, pvs and chargers which came in the same package were allowed after paying duties. the bizzare thing was that my friend was shown newspaper clippings that electronic cigarette are illegal in malaysia yet still taxed on the spot and allowed collection.

What nichrome and wick? That is down right crazy! how did they inform you that it was confiscated? via mail? the customs nor the heath department has any jurisdiction to confiscate either items... were you shipping it together with the juices that contain nicotine? also perhaps its declared above rm500? if it was just declared above rm500 you need to pay taxes thats all and your items are not being confiscated. As per Akta Racun 1952 and Peraturan-Peraturan Kawalan Dadah dan Kosmetik 1984 it is clearly stated that nicotine substance can only be handled by a registered medical practitioner or a pharmacist. If you did bring in juices then there is nothing much that you can do unless you have a good "lobang" I had a parcel that contained only food flavourings that was detained i called up the health department in kl and asked what are their grounds for detaining my parcel, after their inability to give me a legal reason my parcel was sent courier(DHL)

you can buy 100mg (Pure Nicotine) online, but as mob1900 pointed out you seriously know what you are doing with it (It is lethal and you can suffer from nicotine poisoning)
but even if you did buy it i cant see a way on how you could ship it into malaysia. I bought my pure nic early last year before the media and the government got to it, and after my nic runs out i'm thoroughly screwed and i guess i need to buy juices from our local vendors at cut throat prices.

Nope just Nichrome and wicks... Way below rm500. I claimed my store points cause I don't plan to buy from them anymore. Usd8 shipping so it was worth it lol. Well I saw it on the tracker that it has been detained and recipient will be contacted, something to that extend. =) they prob know what the combo is for lol.

PS: on a side note my Dripper pro was also checked and released immediately on the same day... Ironic

Even if they know what it is for they cant do anything to it. In the event you see the customs officer and I suggest that you do, ask them under what Statue(Akta) are they withholding your parcel for... they need to give you a legal reason to hold your parcel and not a "cus I can and I want to" type of answer. If they still insist that they need to hold your parcel ask them to print you a letter stating that your goods are being held and they must include what Statutes gives them the right to do... Nicotine is illegal not *ucking nichrome and wicks! Even if they ask you are these for vaping say yes but tell them you're vaping 0mg
