E-Liquid Flavor Question

I have been vaping for about 5 months now and I love it. I have been constantly experimenting with different atomizers and cartomizers and I now believe I have the perfect e-cig for me.

The problem is, I have invested several hundred dollars on e-liquid flavors that don't measure up for me. My main issue is the weakness of flavor and occasionally, the throat hit. After trying over 30 different flavors, I have only found 3 I like and maybe 3 more I can tolerate.

Is the general weakness in flavor just part of the vaping experience, or is there possibly a company who makes e-liquid with more flavor? The tobacco flavors I have tried are mostly good. It's the fruity flavors that leave me wanting. I would love a sweet and aromatic vape that I can use when I am at home in the evening just relaxing.

Any input would be greatly appreciated.

I'm no expert, but I've gotten some horrible tasting liquids too. I have/will added a few drops of flavors from LorAnn to help improve things. Usually works out fairly well, something tolerable to use in a pinch anyway

If it isn't intense fruity flavor you should consult a doctor... the throat hit is there too.. its just expensive!
ima firm beliver of the 50 cent per 1ml rule... this is 65 cents...in my opinion.. its totally worth it

I've been doing this 6 months and have bought over 100+ vendor liquids... (gasp!)
Have only found about 5 that I really like, out of all of those trials and all that money spent!

Now seriously considering doing "DIY" (do it yourself). Everybody I've talked with says it's WAY cheaper and you can mix the flavors to your own level. From what I can see, two of the best suppliers of the basic unflavored nicotine liquid are MyFreedomSmokes and Wizard Labs. And then for the flavorings, the most recommended seem to be Capella and TPA (The Perfumer's Apprentice)

Now I just need to research some yummy recipes!
