20 seems pretty common in recipes I've seen online (I only make a couple, and they're 10-14). But 5% sweetener is up there on the high end of the range...That's 20% flavoring by volume. I rarely get to 15 and worry at 10.
You might should make a smaller batch first, to see how you'll like it. Are you using nicotine? Even if you aren't, that's an awful lot of flavor concentrate to pour down the drain if you end up not liking it. Could turn out to be a pretty costly experiment.Hope it works
Yeah that one is strong. I made this recipe a while back and the pineapple is the most prominent flavor even at only 1%:I've found TPA Pineapple to be insanely hard on my throat at 10% in a 0 nic 100PG juice, and even after diluting it to 5% it was still causing significant irritation. I hope your experience will be better.

Not sure how it'll taste....but I guarantee it'll be ungodly sweet!![]()
Flavorart makes a very nice, semi mellow pineapple. Their fruits are among the best, in my opinion .You might should make a smaller batch first, to see how you'll like it. Are you using nicotine? Even if you aren't, that's an awful lot of flavor concentrate to pour down the drain if you end up not liking it. Could turn out to be a pretty costly experiment.
Yeah that one is strong. I made this recipe a while back and the pineapple is the most prominent flavor even at only 1%:
"Lava Flow" (Naked 100 clone - I've never had the original but it looked good and I had all the ingredients)
(All TPA)
1% Coconut Extra
1% Pineapple
7% Strawberry
1% Sweet Cream
1% Sweetener
I mixed it 50/50 @ 6mg (original formula I think was 70VG @ 3mg, meant for drippers -- I'll try that next) and it was real tasty at ~11w in a Kayfun Lite rebuildable tank.
(I also tried CAP Golden Pineapple at 9% as a stand-alone, once. Yes, very harsh on the throat, and didn't taste like "pineapple" at all, tastes (smells) more like some baked-good than a fruit. Those are the only two I've tried, maybe it's just pineapple flavors in general are really strong? I actually still have that one around, I might try adding a few drops of it to tiny bottles of unflavored to see if there's a lesser % that will work for me.)
Quickest way to get that done is the "report" button. I'll do it for you, this time. Please move to the DIY forum.
