have you checked for sellers online in singapore?

if you cannot find any, well done theres a great business opporunity :)

Not that simple, e-cig are ban in Singapore. Heard that cannot even vape in public.
Customs confiscate e-cig once you pass through scanner. Never carry e-cig in your pocket while going through Singapore customs.

unless you have a "special" way to import e-cig into Singapore, otherwise.....

alvin get yr facts right...lots of Singaporean vaping openly, its legal to own and use e-cig in Singapore..but Singapore consider e-cig like normal cigarette(travellers cant even bring in "duty-free" cigarettes without been taxed)..will tax-duty on it ..dont scare smokers trying to change over to vaping..u also deterred Malaysian not to buy online..i proved it is not, regarding buying my e-cig's accessories online without any hassle with custom...let get more smokers to join us,vapinggggggggggg on e-cig..regards mafig ps yr motive here is very obvious, but its yr rice bowl..i respect but please refrain from making uncalled remarks to frightened smokers trying to acquire e-cig & accessories from any source deem cheapest online/resellers(like U) etc etc..let us help them with their inquires if we have solutions to their problem..regards mafig

Mafig, what i heard of real experiences are from 3 friends since last year who went there carrying in their pocket the cigarette shape with pcc or 510.

I always tell my sing inquiries those cases, should collect at friend/relative home at JB, and should not bringing it back carrying on body. By bus or train is safer. then most of them saying it's very troublesm and go order from china or local others , haha! if i'm looking important to my rice bowl, i can just keep quiet and close deal, let him take his chances. it wasn't my main rice bowl, am just reducing my vaping cost and get something extra to cover personal expenses. I have my main income not e-cig.

as for malaysia e-cig tax cases, i have kena before and paid the tax even my things original value are below rm500, am not lying. i can email you a copy of the tax i paid if you still think your way.

mahfudz_mn and choipadu also knew about tax cases,

You can call up customs office and ask them whether it's tax free or not, very simple. If they answer you tax free, then who has paid e-cig tax can ask for refunds! haha!

there U go again,1-sided views that U read & come out with "scared mongering"...i personally encourage smokers to change to vaping, helping them by directing and showing them the way..U seen SG vapers forum?...i see so many Sg members helping out newbies acquiring accessories and e-liquids..i am not against resellers..only dont discourage them by postings subjective "scary topics" to undermined their intention to get a starter kit & e-liquids..less said about Sg vapers...they also do it quietly and discreetly..just be helpful and sincere about yr intention as a reseller..i can recommend U if KL members looking for a quick sale on e-cig and accessories..but how to?..when yr PR (public relation) is lacking at this forum..regards mafig ps i suggest U removed all the links U posted as it deem to be only base on yr limited experience and serve no purpose to new users..thanks

It's more like a grey area, or loop hole of the law. Although E cigs are banned in singapore, the action of vaporizing a liquid and inhale it can be defended in many angles as there are currently no explicit laws on it.

Edit: Oh ya, the juices can be found in the toy shop, quite large, same floor as the push cart store. They display it at the door steps! Anyways, I think you can forget about them because they are selling RM50 for like 10ml, and they don't even know how much nic level is in their bottle, just selling them blindly. A pair of Ego Ts selling RM350, can you believe that???!!!

I don't show up in ECF for a few days while suffering from nicotine withdrawal....and all hell breaks loose. Hahaha.

IMHO, Alvin bringing up these second-hand accounts of posts made here or elsewhere is a positive.... if they are true, it allows our Singaporean friends to maybe avoid the same problems and find a solution to it. At the very least, it gives them an opportunity to verify locally, in Singapore, if this is indeed true.

In all fairness, and if everyone doesn't mind my :2c:, as an e-cig user, I have purchased direct from China, Australia, US, UK and from local Malaysian suppliers. Buying direct can be very good in terms of reducing costs, and if purchased from reputable suppliers, you get good products shipped to you in a couple of weeks, at most.

However, I have noticed many many posts made by people who said they are from Singapore, and they had horror stories about having their e-cig equipment confiscated at the customs checkpoint, or not being able to get their purchases sent directly to their Singaporean addresses. I must confess that the authenticity of these stories or accounts are not 100% certain, as I can claim to be a multi-millionaire online and it would be hard to verify this claim.

Our Singaporean friends should get the opportunity to get any and all information available to make an informed judgement or decision. Let's help in any way we can.

Let's spread the love, folks.
Can't we just get along with each other?

p.s. Please don't flame me for this. I just want people to help each other and look for the silver lining. Smile

jack and everyone here who replied...make ECF a place for e-cig users especially newbies to get hold of "starter kit" with positive feedbacks and helpful guidance..and not hindered them with negative innuendos and rumours regarding acquiring their 1st starter kit.

ECF,when i joined(march 2011) i find members/veterans/moderators so helpful to new users..i am so impressed with their sense of understanding and encouragement..i certainly would have given up e-cig & go back to analogs..if not for this forum ..i read daily in new members forum and certainly dont see any negative inputs..if there is any(they are known as trolls, usually their contents removed with remarks made known by moderators)..so let make this our motto(help others to help themselves) and apply this to our Malaysian forum and be as helpful esp our neighbour,Singaporean(banning the sale does not mean its illegal to own & use..if there is a will there is a way as i see..i just received my 3rd package from China..arrived this morning..so U see Alvin..no problem getting my starter kit..regards mafig
