Hi,
I have been using my e-cig for 3 weeks straight now and have not had a real cigarette in as much time. I am so happy that I have found an alternative and my 2 children couldn't be happier:laugh:.

My question is about the e-liquids.

I am using the brand Royal E Cigs which I love, but the liquid is $19 bucks for a 10ml / 16mg bottle.
Is this what I can expect to pay for the liquid?:?:
I just like the plain old Marboro flavor.

Any suggestions?

Thanks

Yeah, that price is too high by a factor of about eight.

I recently paid $10.99 for 50 ml. of an equivalent flavor (3&5) made by the same or similar manufacturer (most likely Chinese). That wasn't the best price I've found, but I wanted to order enough from this particular vendor to qualify for free shipping, and the 3&5 put me over the edge.

Do shop around. And if you like a particular flavor, buying bigger bottles is much more economical than those dinky 10 ml. jobbies. E-liquid is not like shaved ham from the deli counter: unlike such perishables, e-liquid lasts for months in the bottle, if not years.

I DIY... it's the lowest cost. Before you say "Gasp! I'm not ready for that"... it can be real simple.

Example: I vape 24 mg 75% PG/ 25% VG... so.... I go here One Stop DIY Shop and order
48 mg 50/50 PG/VG mix.
an 8 oz container of PG.
flavoring(s) of choice.

I take an empty 10 ml bottle, fill it 1/2 full of the nic juice, put in...say... 5 drops of marl flavor.... fill rest with PG and shake well. I'm done. I have 10 ml of 24 mg 75/25 marl flavor.... at < 20 cents per ml if I find it on sale.

If you want 16 mg, just order 36 mg juice and cut it with a little more than 1/2 PG (little less than 1/2 nic juice in bottle) since 36/2 is 18 so 16 is close to that.

There are also many e-juice calculators floating around that can help you. Breaktru has one that works well.

Just FYI since you're asking about costs.

Great explanation!

A good rule of thumb for USA made liquid is about 50 cents per mil. I vape mostly Backwoods Brew and Alien Visions. The ironic thing is you are satisfied with what you are vaping now BUT you will be ELATED when you find some new/better stuff. We ALL go through the process. GL and congrats on your 3 weeks!

Yes, Angel, $19 for 10ml is very expensive. I did not see it in the thread so far, so I'll remind you to order 3-5ml SAMPLES first from the various vendors suggested. Once you find a flavor you really like, you can get it in bulk. The smaller sample bottles plus shipping will cost a little more, price for finding the right flavors, but you don't want to be stuck with 30 or 50 mls of a juice you can't stand. Good luck! :)
